Infamous039 Posted January 18, 2010 Report Posted January 18, 2010 I have been out of the Banshee world for 1yr and went through withdrawal of not having my Banshee. I have recemtly returned to the life of owning a Banshee. I was able to pickup a titled 19998 Banshee last week for $1400. It has lonestar +2+1 white arms, +4 chrome durableu axle, Clean-up Port, KN air filter, Holeshot tires on ITP rims, +4 timing advance, Brand new Wiesco topend and Barnett Clutches. Bike starts right up (first kick) and has a lot power. Some pics are posted below, please give me your opinion on how it looks. I am planning on stripping it down next winter and dumping some money into it. Quote
Infamous039 Posted January 18, 2010 Author Report Posted January 18, 2010 LOL not this time John. I am going to hopefully keep this one. I make exactly like I want it. Quote
Infamous039 Posted January 18, 2010 Author Report Posted January 18, 2010 Savage420 thats funny Quote
baker Posted January 19, 2010 Report Posted January 19, 2010 nice and clean lookin shee bro, i aint trying to be rude at all but that frame color is just ugly pc that thing when ya strip it down. other than that it looks nice, enjoy it Quote
BSHEE400 Posted January 19, 2010 Report Posted January 19, 2010 i like the color scheme, i think it's unusual Quote
Bill Posted January 19, 2010 Report Posted January 19, 2010 Thats a good deal for 14 hundo, its got that much in aftermarket parts. The white plastic and a-arms makes it look clean,a different frame color in the future would really set it off. All in all I think its a nice banshee. Quote
captainhowdie Posted January 19, 2010 Report Posted January 19, 2010 Good Find for $1400. Give it a little powder coat makeover, get rid of the tors, And then beat the hell out of it! Quote
WantABanshee Posted January 19, 2010 Report Posted January 19, 2010 nice looking bike... Clean as hell why you got the side cover off of it? Missing the flywheel and stator? Quote
Damnit Bob Posted January 19, 2010 Report Posted January 19, 2010 I like the copper color frame and white plastics, havent seen that combo before. Put some pegs on that sucker and bash some trails! Quote
wacko2000 Posted January 19, 2010 Report Posted January 19, 2010 Sweet deal for 1400 Ive been throwing around the idea for sometime now, powdercoating my a-arms white But just cant pull the trigger, it being a trail bike and all They do look sweet though, im concerned about what they will look like after a few rough trail rides What ya think???? I like the color combo, the frame on my YFZ id like a rust/copper, maybe alittle darker than yours but still sweet Quote
Infamous039 Posted January 19, 2010 Author Report Posted January 19, 2010 The flywheel and stator were off, because I was checking to make sure the stator plate was set at +4 and I noticed the pickup coil was missing one screw so I am replacing that screw. Yea, I agree that color of the frame is ugly, but I just dont have the money right now to get it PC. It will be this color for this summer, but next winter she will be getting a complete makeover.
