Not here to sit the pot (too much at least) cuz this is good info that everyone needs to remember... However, Over the last few years I have not touched my Jetting from summer to winter lol... Yea, it runs rich in the summer but still runs good and rips. It just leans out in the winter months and plugs still look good..

 

Yes, that is my lazy jetting solution for my Michigan weather! :cheers:

haha, that is one way to do it...not sure how rich you can go before it gives you more than a little sputtering, and if you're not hooking up real good, you're probably not loading it up verry much or spending much time wot anyways. not sure if i messed with the needles much, but i think it's usually fine to leave them be. i run my needles a little rich on the bottom anyway. baught the carbs i really wanted for cheaper than the needles i needed...

Hmm, I answered my own question, I got everything back together today and changing clip positions on the needles is not necessary, in my case anyway, its a little rich in the middle, has a little spudder, I'll be putting them back to where they were.

this is no bs I took my drag motor out about this time last year and melted a piston and put a whole in the cases need new sleeves ouch 105hp gon fast you need to make this a banner
