  2. thanks bro, frame up resto by me, runs preety good for all stock, loads up a bit at idle, but once you take her for a rip, no problems, might be the spectro hes running too, i hate that stuff, plus stock pipes are trash, it would prob run perfect with a good pipe...

  5. I have had no problems with ricky stators...junk your balls !!!
  6. be careful if you have the cap off when you compress the caliper, that fluid is going to go somewhere !!! you should be able to blled some out or open the calipers up BEFORE you open the reservoir...but def comress those pistons, sometimes they get air behind them and thats the onlyway to get it out, plus shaking the lines, i mean air travels upward because its lighter than the fluid, you'll get it man, just be patient, cycle the caliper by depressing with a screwdriver or clamp and then pump it back out a few times and then with the cap off, pump the crap out of it, hold the lever in and have a buddy crack the bleeder loose, tighten and then release...repeat the pump, open, tighten, release a few times and let us know, i hope that works, fast quads with no brakes suck !!!
  7. I know this bike personally, i put it together for him, i guess he just doesnt want it, its got a brand new wiseco rod kit in it, new powervalves and valve guides, new paint, wiring, graphics, rebuilt suspension, new rear tire, etc...i'm pretty sure it was resleeved and its stock bore, its like a new bike, i know it has one small dent in the pipe like the size of a nickel and its rich as hell when you first start it but clears up and runs good, prob needs a smaller pilot or something... Cant beat the price though...i know he has more than that into it, hard to find in this condition and will win most vintage bike shows "competition" class for sure... RM250 CLICK HERE
  8. amen guys...you believe the dealers here tell these poor people that these chinese scooters they sell have honda or yamaha engines in them and they belioeve thm ? they call me asking if i can get parts for thier jin-lee-zingfu jitbag 50cc and that honda parts are the same, haha, i had to order parts for a guy just to show them they dont fit... and now this blowjob ? i should call the corporate offices on them for copywright infingement hed be f'd harder than the people he sells that junk too haha
  9. isnt there one in ashland very similar right in town ?
  10. X2 unless someone wants to pick me up on the way...
  11. Absolutely not, look at where your lever sits against your perch and adjust the barrel adjuster so that it has maybe an 1/8" of freeplay before it actually moves the clutch itself, if your adjustment is out all the way, its time for a new cable...
  12. I'm in NC and ride between here and pa, pa is my home and if you look at an aerial veiw on google maps, you can see from hazleton to trevorton is nothing but coal hills, let me know when you will be up there and well make it a party... Theres also some great places in west VA like the hatfield mccoy trail system and even carolina adventure world, busco beach and a hillclimb i guarantee you will say fuck that and ride away in rockford nc... as far as worth the trip, nc...hell no, virginia, yeah if you like trails, but northeast pa is the glamis of the black stuff for sure !!! best part about pa and va is you can ride to the gas station or bar
  13. So, apparently either united motors hijacked a shipment of suzuki ltz ? I think he means lt-r450 engines and y'all better look out on a track near you, because thier giving away a free chassis whn you buy a suzuki engine from them, or this guy is full of shit...i myself am betting on the ladder considdering suzuki haz NOTHING to do with um, never has and prob never will... UNITED MOTORS LT-BULLSHIT 450
  14. NOTHING sounds like a banshee being shifted without letting off the gas...Ishift the same way when racing, screw the clutch as long as i cross the line first thats all that matters
  15. you guys know the dude on the red/black shee that crests the top at 2:22 on this video ? Hell prob be there with me when i come up if hes around as well as 3 other decent climbers... i'd be there already if i could afford the trip up there...i'm sure its still a hard climb because its so damn long, but i can see the left side lost a hell of alot of steepness and now that i look at it again i'm pretty sure thats the hill, but again, i might be wrong so dont get your feathers in a ruffle...
  16. are you bleding with the cap off ? You should be... atv front brakes are nothing like car brakes to bleed, sometimes they can be a prick, make sure your fluid is clear, if not take everything off, disassemble and clean and re-assemble and fill with new fluid, if its clear, try depressing the plunger a few times, you should be able to pop off your wheels and just use a screwdriver to pry the caliper open, then pump it up, try that a few times, then bleed it, when you bleed thenm most of the time you have to pump the crapp out of them and you will see air bubbles coming out of the resivoir, sometimes you have to pump the lever or hold t in and wiggle your brake line to get all the air out, opening the caliper all the way and then pumping up a few times usually works for me unless somethings really wrong with the caliper...
  17. Anyone want to ride saturday, lemme know, i'm racing sunday tho...

  18. yes both carbs identical or it wil run like crap...do you have your carbs properly jetted for your pipes ???
  19. Are there little degree marks on the plate ? i know most people run about +4 degrees advanced, thats what i run with pump gas, jetting, pipes and open filters, seems to be most efficient that way, peps up the whole powerband a bit, snappier and doesnt kill your topend too much...I know thats not your exact question, but i'm sure someone will chime in with exactly what you are looking for...
  20. yeah man, thats what i thought, it honestly feels perfect to me, the new barnett, lever, bolt, springs, and cable made it super sweet compared to when i got it, it is actually really smooth and tight, i mean its not as smooth as a honda, but it just feels like a banshee tranny, neither here nor there really...but some knuckehead told me its shot. I put it on craigslist for 3k with all the spare parts and wont budge and people keep flagging it and offering me like 2 grand for it, hah...I'll keep the goddamn thing, my dogs cost more money than the banshee because they eat and have doctor bills...lol thanks guys for the feedback though, its just reassuring, i'm a pretty smart dude and i can usually diagnose anything wrong with a bike especially a 2-stroke and especially a banshee, that guy was just so adimate about that he knew for a fact it shouldnt do that made me second guess myself...guess his balls are square
  21. Ok, clutch works fine at all other times EXCEPT when the bike is off and you click it into gear it drags and if its running it kinda "clunks" into gear and harder to find neutral then it was... I have tried adjusting the cable with zero results, also, there is some noise from the clutch side, more noticable with the cover plate and rubber off, but seems like the same faint noise ive heard out of every banshee ive seen, matter of fact its quieter than most other 2-smokes by far... Any things to try would be greatly appreciated, but looks like I had better plan on some downtime...
  22. good lawd thats alot of feedback !!! wouldnt it be cool if there was a feedback link on everyones profile instead of having to search through all these ???
