yfz450 vs banshee

lets say you have a yfz450 set up to the max and i mean there is nothing else that can be done to it! and a banshee the same way, who would win?

or what size motor would the banshee have to have to beat it

ive raced a yfz450 (1/8)that had major work done and spanked it,with just a port job.ive also raced a ltr450 with also alot of work done to it and have also spanked that.maybe if they swap out motors for an R1 maybe they would have a chance. :biggrin:

YFZ doesn't stand a chance man. Maybe if it has nitrous and a turbo but with a dm banshee or less u could still beat it.

my cub wops on my friends yfz. he has a big gun pipe, no air box and runs on u2e fuel. i run 93 pump with klotz oil btw. its almost unfair .

a 6.37.those are great #s for a 4poke,but he wouldnt stand a chance with a banshee with the same ccs as him or with the same amount of cash invested.plus i think,if im not mistaken,he's spraying...good #s for a raptor based motor... :thumbsup:

guess you can just say its cheaper to build a banshee,but if you have the money the yfz's are no joke.

That wasn't a raptor based bike. That was a 450cc Yamaha. With a stock head. Stock crank. Stock cylinder. Yes, with a lot of nitrous.

Anyway, yes it is cheaper to get these numbers out of a banshee build, but what is the fun in easy?

They have some damn fast 4 strokes out there! More importantly, it's going to be who can setup thier bike better and who is the better rider.

did you see what times that triple put out???HE JUST BEARLY MADE IT OUT OF THE 7S...

at the end of the day the bike is fast,cant take that away from him,but a well built twin with a good rider will spank that ass all day..and we wont get into triples.

Why dont you just look at the time records for a banshee based build and a yfz build and see what you find.
