I just got my 28mm PWK carbs, but they have this gold inlet right next to the choke. Can someone please let me know what plugs into that gold inlet???? Im not sure if I should connect the hose from the bottom of the carb to it or should it be closed off. Please see pics of what I am talking about on the carb. Thanks

Sorry, I read something about this on here before and cannot for shit, remember what they said. Im thinking they said it did not make a difference in running when plugged or not.

Yea I think the guy who had them before me installed them I guess. Do you guys think I should just plug them together to make sure no dirt or water get in the carb??????

I just got some too, look just like yours. I was about to start a thread when I came across yours. They don't look like any power jet I have ever seen, there is no jet installed in the bowl. I would like a definite answer too.

The biggest worry if you don't plug them is that you'll have extra air coming into the intake causing the engine to run lean.

I also have them on my 28's and i just put a tube between them both. My guess is that it's acually for seperate oil lubrication like on the RZ350.

the vac there, is utilized to run a high altitude comphensator valve, which applies vaccuume to the bowls at higher altitude, to lean it off. it could be oil injection, too. a fuel pump would have to be run from the crank to get a good enough pulse. what does it look like inside the bore?
