Hello all, I recently picked up a 2000 Banshee for $0. It had been sitting outside uncovered for years. In my spare time i free'd up the cylinders, turning over like new now.( nothing like Marvel mystry oil and patients) of course i am going to check compression, then most likely rebuild the top end. finally found the electrical gremlin, has great spark now. want to keep it basically stock, would anyone know where i could get

stock pipes and silencers? It does have a cool head, and from what i have read on this forum i will keep that. have never owned or ridden a banshee and i am very excited to finish this project.

You'd be better off just getting adecent set of used pipes man, the kind of course would depend on what type of riding you and where you want your peak power at..Look in the for sale section on here....And welcome to BHQ!

Welcome to the HQ dude I also have a stock set that I'll give you for next to nothing. But as everybody else said do yourself a favor and get a nice set of used aftermarket pipes you'll be much happier in long run. Try to find some pro-circuits Good low end I think you would be happy with them. If not for any other reason do it for the sound you have a machine that makes a sound that cant be duplicated by none. When a 4 poke comes down the trail all you say is there is some 4 poke you cant really distinguish one from the other, but when you here a banshee coming there aint no mistaken it. Just get the f--k out of the way.Good luck with the project post some pics when your done.

Welcome to the BHQ! Are the toomeys garbage from sittin' out, or what... cuz they'd be WAY better than stock!!

Garbage from sitting in the elements to long. With alot of elbow grease i could probaly save them, but i would prefer to get her back to as stock as possible for the kind of riding i will be doing, down the line i want to do some serious mods, but like i said i just want to get used to her first i dont have any experience with Banshee's.

If the thing was sitting long enough outside to lock the cylinders up i wouldnt run it until you have done a tear down and check out the crank and bearings ect....... And everything. If there is rusting and pitting on the bearings ect it could live a very short life if its not taken care of.
