ryansedy
So say you get a 2-5 or 1-5 dunable, you lose the 6 gear right? so your overall top speed will be less?
RagunCajun
yeah mine i lost 6th. I wasn't aware that a company made a 1-6 dunable. Either way with my gear 15/41, 5th is plenty fast enough. Against the average bike, you should be a head a good bit where it doesnt matter. Dirty Sanchez
On the duneable 1-5 you lose a gear. Do you lose 6th (overdrive) or do you lose the original 1st gear? Or is all the gear ratio's changed?

ryansedy
the duneable with 1-4, 5+6. Is that the one ive heard that if you dont come to a complete stop before you down shift, it will blow up your bike? how does it blow up your bike, does it shove it back down into first gear or somthing? BellicoseBanshee
So say you get a 2-5 or 1-5 dunable, you lose the 6 gear right? so your overall top speed will be less? Yes, you will not have a sixth gear. All you need to do is change your gear ratio to make the 1-5 equivalent to 2-6 on a normal transmission...
