When I start my Banshee now it races right up to full throttle and won't come back down. I have to shut it down. I had to replace a sticky throttle cable (I thought this was the issue), but it wasn't the problem. What causes this or what should I look for now? I'm a relative ATV newbie so go slow.

Thanks,

Take your air filter off and take a look at your carb slides, one is probably hung up.

You also may have to re-sync your carbs after you replaced the cable. Get a Clymer's Manual if you can. I think synchronizing your carbs may be covered in your owner's manual as well.

Thanks, checked the slides already, they seem to be moving just fine and freely. Nothing looks stuck when I check them unless they are sticking only when running and unstick when I shut it down. Until I get this Banshee to idle I can sync it

TAKE TORS OFF. LIGHT IT ON FIRE. EMPTY TRASH CAN.

LOL, thanks and i agree, but someone already did that. No TORS on my Banshee. It's actually an ALBA Banshee.

Watched my buddy do this after he completed a rebuild...the tube that connects the carbs was off. It would shoot to redline. Check that
