I had that happen to me once, and I didn't remember it until you just said it. its all good. i never wouldve thought. ive had it sitting there running before with no air filter. lesson learned though. good ,glad it was something simple , bro yea, too simple. the fuckin air filter was sitting there on the work bench the whole time laughing at me.. mocking me.. Ben350 Posted March 10, 2009 Report Posted March 10, 2009 Cant say i would have guessed that was the problem. You must be on the hair line of a too lean idle, maybe adjust your pilot screw some or go up a pilot jet. It should be able to run with the filter off. At least its running again Quote

At least its running again i agree. i think its a little bit too lean. i need to raise the pilot one and im sure thatll take care of it. im kinda glad this happened, because it lets me know my jetting is off a fuzz. Oh well we all learned something then...lol yea, pretty strange. i think it just shows that my pilot is too lean. that thing should start an idle without and air filter on it. Quote
zach45 Posted March 10, 2009 Report Posted March 10, 2009 i have a 450 that wouldent start for anything.... starter fluid and all... took it back to my dealer who my family buys way to much shit off of and they fixed it for free... i hate them so much lol.... fun bike to ride tho.. Quote
