Joey Posted March 4, 2009 Report Posted March 4, 2009 Well almost a new owner. I am going to pick it up on sat. This will be my first quad but I have been riding most of my life. I have only owner dirtbikes though. Here are some pics of the bike. It is a 2000. Seems to be in really great condition. It is mostly stock too (which is what I wanted) I will be lurking around and reading a lot on here trying to learn as much as I can. -Joey Quote

Joey Posted March 4, 2009 Author Report Posted March 4, 2009 (edited) Thanks everyone, I can't wait to get this beast back home so I can have some fun. My brother has a Z400 so it will be fun riding with him. Do you guys have any advice as to what I should look for when I go look at the bike one last tiem before I buy it? I know to check for the usual things; rust, cracks, typical signs of abuse, side-to-side play in wheels/bearings. Anything else? Edited March 4, 2009 by Joey Quote
F7 Possum Posted March 4, 2009 Report Posted March 4, 2009 Nice rig! Its clean! How much was it if you don't mind saying? It looks like it for sale at a dealer. HAVE FUN, I am in the same market looking for one just like that. Quote
Detroit Muscle Posted March 4, 2009 Report Posted March 4, 2009 Looks really clean and will be a nice base to start building from. You will have fun with it, and if you don't already with the pipes, you will soon be much much faster than the z. Quote

HAVE FUN, I am in the same market looking for one just like that. They have it listed for $2900. Its not as cheap as I would like but this shee is extremely well kept and one of the few mostly stock ones I have found. I have already worked out a price for the bike out the door and I am happy. He has a little work done to his so it should be fun. Quote

Its about 3.5 hours away and the elevation is slightly higher. But I have no clue where the original owner owned it so I am going to go over everything once i get it back home. The bike is on hold till saturday. I can't make the trip during the week due to work so the guy told me he would keep it there till saturday. Quote
