  1. Seat, and rear shock gone. Make some offers.
  2. Any reasonable offer will most likely be accepted.
  3. Pipes, carbs, intake, and pods are SOLD. Make me some offers on the rest.
  4. If you're interested in the motor as is I can get you a price but not it is not currently running, the left hand side rod bearing seized up, so it either needs just a new bearing or a used crank. Everything else is in good condition, the top end has less than 5 hours or so on it.
  5. The pipes, carbs, intake, and pods are all sold pending pick up and payment Saturday. Make some offers on the rest of it guys.
  6. Wanna try and sell the motor all together if possible.
  7. Will do, I'm just heading to bed, ill get some pics of that stuff tomorrow morning.
  8. Come on guys make me some offers, I need to move these parts fast. Everything is negotiable. Also interested in a newer 4 stroke 250 or 450 dirtbike. Or possibly parts for a F350 powerstroke.
  9. $40 and you can have the bars with the grips, pad, and clamp, which is a billet clamp. Has a flame pattern cut into it. You can see it on rmatv. Ill try and dig up some pics of the bike with the other silencers on it.
  10. Alright I'm parting out my banshee, here's what I have. All parts are located in Delton, MI. About 20-30minutes north of Kalamazoo. -Motor: In process of putting new crank into it because of seized rod bearing, nothing else hurt only about 5 or 6hrs on it, strong running trail ported stock stoke. Will update when done with price/pics -Frame($200+shipping) No title, no bends, dents, etc.. Bought off CL and had PC'd gloss black, shaved off unneeded tabs as well. -Front Suspension($450+shipping) Black YFZ a-arms, tie rods, hubs, disk brakes, lower right a-arm has dent due to rock in trail, have pics. Dent is noticeable but does not affect the functionality of the arm. Shocks are Arctic Cat sno-pro 440 shocks w/ remote rezzies. This front end is the smoothest I've ridden. Will increase your width by about 2 1/4 on each side and about 1 forward. -Raptor Rear shock($50+shipping) I believe it's from a 660r, works great with setup. -Durablue +4 axle($200+shipping) In good condition, could use some cleaning/polishing. -Stock Swinger($50+shipping) Stock swinger in fine shape, painted black. -Shearer Sm Bore in-frames($400+shipping) Chrome is in great condition, will repolish before sale, 2 sets of silencer tubes included. One set normal outside of seat, other set custom bent for dual exhaust right under the seat inside the frame. Both included. -35mm PWK's($250+shipping) Carbs in good condition, low hours. -K&N Pods($50+shipping) Outerwears included, one outerwear has hole bunrt in it from pipe. -Billet Intake($100+shipping) Can't remember what I paid for it, or what brand it is, but it is in perfect condition. Correct me if my pricing is way off. -Rolling Chassis($850obo) If someone wants to buy my entire chassis with all suspension included. Alright I believe this is all the big stuff I have that I can think of at the moment, but I have the entire quad minus the plastics so anything else you see on it you may want or whatever let me know if it's not listed. Can get more pics if needed. All prices negotiable, would prefer local buyers so I don't have to ship. Pics can be found here: Photobucket acct
  11. A list of all the mods would be nice, and are you looking to trade for a shee? I've got a 4mil dune ported built by Kevin at HJR. Virtually nothing stock on it with well over 5g's invested if interested email me at BassLine_GT3@yahoo.com I don't get on here too much anymore.
  12. Are you interested in trades for banshee or??? I've got a 4mil dune ported shee built by Kevin at HJR I'm gonna sell or trade. Virtually nothing is stock. Fresh PC, YFZ front, +4 swing, +4 axle, etc.... Better off to email me at BassLine_GT3@yahoo.com since I don't get on much if interested.
  13. www.GAownersclub.com It's like HQ for GA's. Don't know if it's still around or not but used to go there when I had one.
  14. Is your motor completely stock? I think I'd want something at least trail ported but maybe depending on amount of cash added I may consider.
  15. Man I know what you guys are saying... I can't even count all the hours that I've put in wrenching on this thing. And you're right Kev, that is this bike. I had thoughts of lightening it, lowering it, and putting it on alcohol and maybe some nitrous and just dragging it but that would still leave me needing a trail bike, and I just don't have the money to do both right now. Surely someone has got to need a badass banshee. Would prefer more than anything to find someone with a 450 to trade straight up, or a stock one plus cash.
  16. Well I really regret doing this, and I know I'll miss it but I just built too much motor for my style of riding(trails/trips). I'm going to sell my 4mil and buy a yfz, or a honda 450r. There is almost nothing stock still on this shee. I bought it stock in January and have since put probably $5000+ into it all said and done. I'll try to list all the mods, but surely will forget a few. Engine/Trans: 4mil stroker built by Kevin at HJR Long rod 795's 25cc domes cut to run on pump gas. Compression is 120 with these, was 155-160 with 24cc's Cool head Case ported to match Aggressive dune port Billet intake 35mm PWK's K&N pods w/ wears Pancake bearing Shift star mod all HD springs LOW hours on motor. Only finished about 2 months ago. Est. ~80hp Entire engine/trans was sent to Kevin and completely gone through Shearer in-frame pipes w/ hand-made centermount rear tubes. Freshly polished. Chassis/suspension: Freshly powdercoated Gloss Black frame. Unused brackets removed YFZ a-arms/tie-rods/front brake calipers(black) Arctic Cat Sno-Pro 440 shocks w/ remote rezzies +4 Lonestar roundhouse swinger(Fresh gloss black PC) 2+2 Durablue axle Raptor rear shock w/ remote rezzie Kenda Knarlies w/ maybe 8hrs on them at most Tag handle bars Misc: New clutch cable New throttle cable New chain New gripper seat Easy pull clutch lever/perch from FAST Polished throttle cover Brand new ORV sticker I'm sure I'm forgetting something but that's a basic list. This motor is extremely strong even on premium fuel. It's been to Silver Lake twice and can hold it's own with the stretched out draggers for what it is. Last weekend on a trip to Baldwin trail riding it burnt up a piston so I have to tear it back down this weekend to see whats wrong with it. It will be running again before a sale. May consider parting it out if I cannot get rid of it any other way. Keep in mind it will have a BRAND NEW top end. You can break it in yourself. My asking price is $4000 OBO, and/or trade for a lightly modded yfz450 or honda 450r. Here's the best picture I have right now. It would be best to E-mail it at BassLine_GT3@yahoo.com or reply to this thread. The shee is located in Delton, MI. About 15miles south of Kalamazoo. Willing to deliver or drive to meet within a reasonable distance. Also have many stock parts to go with it.
  17. I paid $100 for gloss black on my frame, that was plugging all holes, and he did all the prep work. Frame looks amazing and is 7mil thick I believe.
  18. Myself, nitrousbaby, and a few of our other friends are heading up to the dunes this Saturday, April 25th for the day. Gonna try and get there before the gates open and probably stay till 4 or so. Not exactly sure what vehicles are going yet but if anyone who's gonna be there wants to meet up I'll keep this thread updated as it gets closer to the weekend. I'm sure we'll be around the strip most of the day.
  19. Another update. This afternoon first thing we swapped out the cdi with one from another bike and then we fired it up with the 170's still in it and the needle still set all the way rich. It sounded completely different and barely ran. Then we set the needle back to the center notch where it was originally and tried it with the 170's still. It was better but still boggy up top so I stepped all the way back down to 160's and then ran it and it seemed much improved. Now we've reset the timing to +4 and everything seems to be good. It's supposed to be nice out and warm tomorrow so I'm gonna run it for a while and see how it acts. Hopefully we've solved the issue. Thanks for everyone who's helped, and especially to Kevin who's spent a ton of time on the phone with me since building this motor.
  20. I realize the needle carries over into the main... and we richened it up all the way. Needle is on the bottom clip and the plugs are still dry and lean looking when we pull them out after a few passes down the road.
  21. Okay well here's an update for every1. We tried a few things tonight before it got dark and I think we finally made some progress. First we did a leak-down test using a tester we made exactly like the one in the sticky, and it didn't leak any air at all, even sprayed everything with soap/water just incase it was a tiny tiny leak. Then we set the timing to 0* from the +5* it was at. Took it up and down the road like that first, and it seemed improved, although sounded lean. We decided to drop the needle all the way to the bottom clip(was in the center) to richen it up a lot. Rode it like that as well and it seemed to be even better, though after a few rips up and down the street the mid-range throttle felt increasingly spongy, then we clean itself out when the powerband hit but would then sound lean again on the top. Currently it has 170 mains, DGK needle set at the bottom, air screw 2 turns out. Going to try 175 mains tomorrow I think to see what happens. Any ideas on the jetting???
