yammyboy3 Posted February 10, 2009 Report Posted February 10, 2009 i dont know what came over me but as i was finishing up polishing my front brake calipers i took a look at the back of the shee and noticed how dull and shitty my stock axle looked so next thing i know i was sanding and grinding and well now im done and it looks like and aftermarket axle shinny as shit like a mirror and only took 3 hours?? im gonna get some pics up Quote

jbooker82 Posted February 11, 2009 Report Posted February 11, 2009 I did it to mine on my raptor. I just lifted the rear tires off the ground. Started it up and put it in 3rd gear. Started out wet sanding with 320 grit 3m sponge. josh Quote
Snopczynski Posted February 11, 2009 Report Posted February 11, 2009 The stock axle is steel, you can't polish it without clear coating it. Most aftermarket axles are steel unless its a aluminum drag axle. Quote
