Just finished rebuilding the quad but when i put on my pro curcuit pipes the left pipe touches the fuel line. I put on a boss intake, v force reeds, and 28 mm pwks...all wich i never had on before. Any one else had this problem the intake is pushing the carbs out to far. The air filters are real close as well. thaks for the help.

Make the lines longer, reroute and/or tie away from the pipes with zip ties.

I run mine through the middle of the intake xover tube and zip tie them.

and I'm sure I have less clearance with shearers than you do with pro circuits.

Make the line shorter so it gets pulled over towards the carbs. Or take the heat gun, bend it, heat it up, then cool it down. It will stay bent after it cools.

I did the same thing, just used zip ties to pull the hose away from the exhaust...and that is with my 33 PWK's

i just bent my silencer pipes so that the angle where they join makes the pipe clock into clearance. i've heard of shimming the frame mounts too.

I zip tie everything also. But I cut a small peice of rubber hose, and put it over the fuel line to keep it from rubbing the pipe.

I do the exact same, it works great!

Like Snop said, cut the hose shorter so it pulls in & away. I had similar prob with T5's & Boss intake too! Stock intakes work just fine though but I did need 3/8 spacers for that left 28mm carb bowl to clear the clutch arm.
