87sheerips Posted January 3, 2009 Report Posted January 3, 2009 OK, we have about 4" of solid ice right now on our lake. I am SO tempted to go riding, but personally I like to see at least 6". What have u guts ridden on/consider safe for riding? I figure its roughly 600lbs, with me on the bike at 200lbs. 3of us were standing in a circle tonight fishing with no problems (about 600lbs) which makes me want to ride even more! What do yall think? Dmcbanshee Posted January 3, 2009 Report Posted January 3, 2009 4" is safe for a quad. I think its 3" or 4" for a quad or snowmobile and 12" for a car and 18" for a trucks... Try it and you will see lol Have fun on the lake bro  Quote
