I use the search button to get my answers instead of posting. I think ive been lucky on finding what i need to find probably because i have a pretty much stock bike. anyways, i just thought i would voice my opinion alittle bit in the following matter: its alittle unfair that ive been a good member on this site for three yrs now and because i dont post my member status remains the same? I was also wondering if such people that work on this site such as moderators maybe have accesss to advance their post numbers to make them appear more involved on this site. The reason why im asking this is because ive looked at some moderators post counts and compaired them to when they became members and find it hard to believe that they have posted that many posts? not trying to stir up a big mess just thought i would voice my opinion in the event something like this was happening and to add a post, in hopes to one day move up a notch in my member status, lol Quote

NYUK, Meat and myself have been here since before 2002, when the site crashed and was rebuilt. you have to keep in mind that many of our posts werent from asking questions, but rather from answering them. granted a lot are from just jackin around and BS posts, but the members with a lot of posts have been very helpful on HQ. as far as advancing your post count, no one here except for me and Lee can do that, which we wont. if you want to advance your status then start posting and helping people. youll gain respect and a higher status. as far as post count and amount of time here, its not impossible at all.. for example.. lets say you post 10 times a day. so thats 300 posts a month. thats 3600 posts a year. so you can easily see why some people have as many posts as they do.. I have been on this site since Oct of 04 but like some others at first didn't post to much.. Hell, as a average Iam just barely over 2 posts a day.. I help where I can and have asked questions about allot of things through the years.. Also like Loco mentioned there has been a fair amount of Bs'in but thats all part of being a active member here.. To be honest Iam not sure the total relevance of "status" in reguards to post count.. I know of a few members that are screamin through the numbers in terms of post count but I would say they have less "credit" than some of our less active members.. What Iam trying to say is just because you have a smaller post count shouldn't be seen as anything more than that, a low post count.. Speak up where you can to help others out, you got a tough question, feel free to post it, you wanna state just your opinion, do it up. People are much more likely to base a opinion on you with what you say rather than how many times you say it.. As loco mentioned he and Lee are the only ones that can alter post count numbers.. Lee would have no reason to do such a thing and Loco, although quite the asshole keeps straight on that sortta thing.. So trust me brotha, the post counts you see are legit and a product of MANY days and nights on Bansheehq... Ask my girlfriend..lol Happy posting.. RIPPEN Quote

278 Posted January 1, 2009 Report Posted January 1, 2009 Don't worry about the post man, I havn't been here very long, and I'd say about 50-75% of mine are helping people and the other 25-50% are BSing. This site is really just to help people and just have some fun, but in the short time I've been here there have been alot of people messing that up (example-porn spammers) but your posts aren't important it's what you get out of the site, so don't worry about your status just stick around and help others with the knowledge you've obtained which I'm sure is alot beings I've been here like 6 months and have learned so much between this site and working on the shee and applied previous knowledge I had. So just have fun and help others Quote
