  1. Peterlocal22 is who you should talk to. From what i have read his set up is what your looking for, its pretty bad ass for the trails. although he still needs to get a trail port on the motor
  2. hi guys, well ive been a memeber of this site for a couple yrs now. although i dont say alot im always checking it out. I use the search button to get my answers instead of posting. I think ive been lucky on finding what i need to find probably because i have a pretty much stock bike. anyways, i just thought i would voice my opinion alittle bit in the following matter: its alittle unfair that ive been a good member on this site for three yrs now and because i dont post my member status remains the same? I was also wondering if such people that work on this site such as moderators maybe have accesss to advance their post numbers to make them appear more involved on this site. The reason why im asking this is because ive looked at some moderators post counts and compaired them to when they became members and find it hard to believe that they have posted that many posts? not trying to stir up a big mess just thought i would voice my opinion in the event something like this was happening and to add a post, in hopes to one day move up a notch in my member status, lol
  3. peter would you sell just arm not bearings? do you take paypal still? send pics to [email protected] thanks
  4. i know its a silly question and i did a search but found nothing. can some one explain to me what it means when your engine is running lean vs rich? thhanks
  5. hello, got a new digital temp guage and i hooked it up to the coolant line coming out of the motor going back to the radiator. i ran the quad wide open 5 and 6 gear for a couple minutes. then came to a stop. the guage read around 173 while riding then when i stopped but left the mototr running is slowly crawled up to 191 then i shut it off. it seemed like though the temp was moving up slower as time went on it didnt seem as though it was ever going to stop. felt like it was just going to keep going up. is this normal? is this because the motor is running and theres no air going through the radiator to cool things down or is there a problem w my bike? thanks
  6. im w/ mj and peter, when you buy something new you should not have to check it over, and i dont care what you say two smoke but you dont go over every nut and bolt on your bike before you run it.
  7. how much you want if he doesnt buy?
  8. i thought it was the opposite when the choke was pulled. thoght it would run the motor lean?
  9. so do you think the motors ok? thanks for your replies i appreciate it
  10. started my bike up and ran it for 10 minutes not remembering to shut the choke off. when i finally did it ran ok but bogged down every so often when i opened the throttle up. question 1.) is it possible that i messed the motor up question 2) should i have been able to run it w the choke on or could this be because my jetting is off? thanks
  11. dont mean to hijack your thread peter but i just installed my new impeller and had a question. once the new impeller is in and the clutch cover is back on the bike should the new impeller still spin freely? or should it not move when you try an turn it by hand?
  12. put in a new impeller today and once i put the clutch cover back on and bolted it up the impeller no longer spun freely. probably a stupid question but its not suppose to spin freeley anymore because its now hooked up to the motor, right??? sorry for the stupid q just want to make sure i did it right bf i go any further

  14. i was riding on the street yesterday and i felt a wobble in my front end when i got at a high speed. now last week i hit a rock and felt a real hard jolt in my front wheels. now i heard this woble could be a bent rim but can you bend hyper beedlocks that are carbon fiber? thanks
  15. hello i have a set of a arms astock and stock front shocks. is it better to keep the a arms together and then the shocks together on two different auctions or should i seperate everything into 6 differnet auctions? any help is appreciated
  16. anyone know what the stock carb size is? thanks
  17. whats up everyone? i have the Trinity 2 into 1 carb set up that i bought a while ago. the thing is my carb is shot and needs to be replaced for many differnet reasons. with that being said can i still use all the other parts in the kit like the stage 1v alloy manifold, carb manifold as well as air box adapter plate on any other aftermarket carb for the banshee? or do i need to stick w the same one it came with? thanks
  18. waaa waaaa are you that bored that you have to start directing people on this site.
  19. I have a set of used chrome rocket pipes w/ awsome pipe clamps, in great shape. what are they going for these days? would i be better off selling them on ebay or on the hq? thanks
  20. r there any safety concerns that should follow when you remove your Tors?
  21. im lookinh to get the tors eliminator kit for my banshee. theres so many differnt kits out there i was hoping someone could give me some advice, pros and cons of some of the kits. what do youy run, do you like it/not like it. were to buy the kits. thanks
  22. dawarriorman, it seems like you always have something negative to say esp. when it has to do with people on this forum trying to build a better front end for the banshee. Last time you it was about bumpsteer in another thread, now its about the yfz 450 a arm swap. Not to mention the knocking of alot of hq members saying they dont have the know how to work on bikes because of there age. get over it. you seem to know alot about banshees but sometimes you go over the top. your not the end say all about the a arm swap out. let that be known. this is a new concept so lets check it out and see what happens. I give props to mullet man for his great write up on this subject. Also give props to many of the hqers who dared to try it and test it out. 2003limitedbanshee is also moveing forward for the development of this subject and i hope he continues. i hope your insults dont stop him from keeping the ball moveing in the advancement of the swap out. and one more thing some of these younger hq members who you dont think have the know how to work on bikes are the same people that will continue to keep advancing this outdated bike to todays standards.
  23. handlebars off my 2004 banshee look great, greyish silver with black grips. grips are worn. just want them out of my garage. $10.00 plus shipping
