Dinner Posted December 31, 2008 Report Posted December 31, 2008 I think T-5s would copliment your set up better than fatties, just my 2 cents  I would agree, T-5's or Pro Circuits would run better on top than fatties. But being as you have fatties right now, run them until/if you decide to change pipes. Good luck with the silly 4 strokes  Quote
AKheathen Posted December 31, 2008 Report Posted December 31, 2008 just my experience- 05 660r with dynojet needle/jet is torqy as a mother and really unleashed the beast. if he can grab gears, and hookup, you'll have to really practice, and pick a long stretch to get him. Quote
2slow350 Posted December 31, 2008 Report Posted December 31, 2008 You may want to spend the extra money on some good paddles, that is where some people mess up bc they didn't spend the money on a good set of sl haulers, etc.. and got beat do to tire spin.. Jeff can tell you about what size you will need.. Quote
Dick Wheels Posted December 31, 2008 Report Posted December 31, 2008 if you can atleast for now grab a set of 28pwk's and use your stock intakes. Atleast they will work much better then the stockers and when u can really afford ot upgrade and get intakes and everything you should be able to sell them for what you paid! Quote
donkeypuncher Posted December 31, 2008 Report Posted December 31, 2008 yoproblem beating any 4 stroke thats just piped and jetted. u should have no when i used to have fmf gnarleys, k&n filters, +4 timing, and 21cc domes i was dead even with my buddy that had a trx 450r with hrc kit, top end cam, k&n filter, and rev box. CBAIER1206 Posted December 31, 2008 Report Posted December 31, 2008 You should just quit screwing around and get a cub motor and be done with it!! At the end of the day, I think what everybody here is trying to say is that mod for mod...the banshee is quicker provided all other things being equal. Weight is also a factor. If your buddy weighs 150lbs and you weigh like 250lbs, you're gonna have your hands full. Good luck! Quote
locogato11283 Posted December 31, 2008 Report Posted December 31, 2008 you need to talk to jeff about your timing and compression. youre probably gonna be borderline running pump/race fuel.. you might as well go ahead and bump up the compression to gain that extra power down low.. i would stick with a 14 tooth front if possible. you should be good on beating the 450's unless its loose dirt where they will shit and git while youre still spinning the tires.
