Rebuilt motor not running

I just rebuilt the motor in my shee. I put it in and cranked it up. It was smoking good and then bogged down and quit. I pulled the plugs and they were soaked. I cleaned the plugs and it cranked up then choked itself out again. I checked the jets and everything looks good. Can anybody help me. I'm getting good spark too.

did u rejet it or did u use you old set-up ... the change in compression could have efected your jeting just an idea

How's your air filter look? Does it rev?

I tried cranking the motor with the filters off and the compression didn't change. I just had the cylinders honed.

did you redo anything else; clean carbs...

I blew out the jets and made sure the the carbs were clean.

make sure the jetts are tight cuz something like that happined 2 me and my main jet was loose. umm like the other guy said does it rev up or does it bog the whole time

Is there any gas running out of your carbs when you turn the gas on? Sounds like you got something back together in your carbs wrong.

the motor will rev for about 5 sec. then bogs down and dies. Is the arrow on the pistons supposed to face the exhause or the intake?

pistons face the exhaust side..........sounds to me like your pilot jet and or circuit is clogged

you have to blow all the circuits in the carb out too, not just the jets.

arrow to the exhaust.which way did you put them?have you pulled your carbs apart?
