removing pistons

Hey got a noobie question. Never had to do it till now. Im bringin my jugs and pistions to my engine builder and i dont know how to take the pistons off the rod. I took the two ring keys off each end and thats as far as i got. Help me out anyone?

now you just have to push the pin out.sometimes they are tight though.

Yup, after you take the cir-clips out, the wrist pins just push through. You might have to use something with a soft end, to get some leverage.

I use a deep well socket thats a little smaller in diameter than the pin, to help push it out.

I recently took mine off with a racheting vise clamp by using a deep socket (10mm I think).
