Hey guys, new to the drag scene. I've had my shee for bout 4 years now and love the thing! I have invested alot of money into it! I'm currently stationed in Alaska. They had some 1/8th mile drag races this past summer. surprisingly, i won the open air class. They did bracket style. I was running 9.3's all weekend. Consistency won the race!! I was the only quad out there. Everybody laughed @ me... They weren't laughing @ the end of the day, they were cheering me on!! Which brings me to where i'm @ right now.Herr Jugs Racing is doin the motor up now! Just got my frame back from getting powder coated candy red with flake! Pretty sick! Had a few questions on suspension. I currently have a +4 A-Arms with long travel elkas on it. Will marvin shaws work with the +4 Arms? Also, should i purchase the lowering kits to lower it?

the lower the faster.no matter if its a car, drag bike or quad.the more air under you means more resistance/turbulence between you and the ground which will slow you down.

are you stretched any frame or swing arm.

just by the looks of your bike, it looks like you do alot of trail riding. Are you going to continue to do trails or are you going to do the strip stuff? lets clear that up first

Goin strip!! Had alot more fun doin the strip stuff than trail!

I dont think thats a Lonestar, it looks more like the cascade one. Still would look brand new with powder coating or chroming but might be a little heavy for the strip. Also you might want to get some light weight arms and ditch the front brakes so you can run spindle mounts. Your just begging to be broke aren't you!!!!

I'm better off spending my money than saving it with todays economy!!!

If your stuff's at herr jugs (I assume port work), you need to get tires, swinger &/or wheelie bar before your front susp.

I'm in Alaska! I'm in no hurry... Winters suck! I found a couple of people that have swing arms that i'm lookin at. Do you think a +8 will be enough for HJR motor work?

What kinda port job did you get? You running a 4mill? Also about the ELKAS? :whistling:

If you want to do this right PM me. We have been running 1/4 mile for 4 years with over 600+ runs. Our best time is 10.23 @ 123 mph. I'm retired Air Force and I will not steer you wrong. Bryan
