dajogejr Posted December 16, 2008 Report Posted December 16, 2008 Start stripping that thing down. Weight is 100% key ...I honestly think if you didn't touch the motor at all, you could strip that bike down from the pics and gain 1/2 a second, no BS. Drag parts are light, flat out. My bike with 75 to 125 lb lighter rider...yes rider, goes .2 to .3 faster in 300 foot. Roughly 1/4 the race you guys do in the 1/4 mile.... Welcome to the club buddy.... Quote
KEVSWS6 Posted December 16, 2008 Report Posted December 16, 2008 This guy is getting a sick setup. Full drag port 4 mil cub. Domes to run 110 octane at elevation. Sling shot lockout and 1-5 override. 39 PWK's with Chariot billet intake. Shearer two out one side small bore. Need to contact SlowerThanYou for tire, swinger and wheelie bar setup. Get with AZCUSTOMQUADS for any arms and swingers you need. We have some good guys here that will get your bike dialed in. I can build the motor but setting up for asphalt is not my strong point. Use the guys here and at atvdragracers.com Quote

tony cub Posted December 18, 2008 Report Posted December 18, 2008 need to cut down some weight.stock frame comes in at about 50lb i lightend my frame and it came in at 29lb.get some -1 +1 aarms.i wouldnt go with any name brand swingarm have one custom made from quadcustoms very light weight and cheaper.get some skinnys on the front 10x2s spindal mounts WITH brake mounts.in 1/8 doing 110-120mph you need front brakes.only sand guys remove front brakes. lol..and about your port work...my first set up was a 4mill cub and i had it ported by a highly known shop and i found that a drag port to some shops doesnt work very well for 1/8.i then reported with a well known asphalt racing shop and i was explained the diffrance between a sand drag port and a asphalt drag port..big diffrance.i felt the port and saw it on my time slip.not to start anything or put anybody down just giving you my input.good luck and get ready to spend some mad cash Quote
dajogejr Posted December 18, 2008 Report Posted December 18, 2008 Bam...anyway you can shrink that signature pic? That thing literally takes up the whole screen!!! Quote

I know what I'm doing. Already have a 120mph gas 4 mil cub running on the asphalt. Unlike some builders I stick with you. If we cant get your motor to perform to our expectations with testing and tuning I will personally rip it apart and redo do it for free! I don't clown around. Quote
