Are the angle paddles better? If so why? Also will be running up at silver lake this summer with a stock banshe that I'm going to be putting pipes on before spring. I'm guessing i will want ot run the 8 paddles correct? Thanks for your help guys. If you have a suggestion on what size tires all around with that set up would be great! Thanks again!

it depends if your drag racing or just dunes , angled paddles are better for turning, and strait ones are just better for drag racing .

a regular set of angled paddles will work just fine .(sand sharks) a friend of mine went to glamis with a stock bike and paddles // he had a great time ..

I prefer the Hauler paddles for all dune ridding. The straight paddles really get you up the steep dunes a whole lot faster. I have a set of Sand Sharks, but they're my extras incase something happens to my haulers....they just collect dust. The Sharks are 20x11x8 and work just fine with my setup.

I'd recommend a set of Sand Skate II's. They are an awesome duning tire and they work pretty good for occasional dragging.

With your basically stock quad, you will appreciate the duning qualities of the SKII's over a straight cup style tire.

I like to run 22inch tall tires in the dunes and just gear down a little this will give you better ground clearance and keep your rear sproket out of the sand.I like staight paddel haulers they hook alot better in the soft sand.

Keep in mind when on sand you want more tire than wheel to keep you floating on the top. If you have the choice and don't mind the look I'd stick with 8" wheels. I went from a v style 10" to a straight style 8" and noticed a day and night difference in my whole shot and speed at the hill. It also made regular duning alot easier since it reduced low speed digging with an acceptable loss of turning performance (I barely notice). I am using an 8 paddle 21x12x8 hauler, and love it. The only thing I'll be changing is to go to a hauler extreme when I get some more cash together. Gonna use the reg haulers on my stock banshee.
