  1. Well I figured out what was messing me up. I thought they were supposed to go in the hole right next to the main but the jets that they sold me wouldn't fit up in that hole and that was screwing me up! I took out the idle jets up in there and they are a bunch smaller than what they sold me. The ones they sold me are longer and have pin holes along the shaft, nothing like the stock ones. I'll have to return them tomorrow and see whats up. Scott
  2. Ok thanks guys!!! I will invest in one of those books also. Where is the best place to get one? Scott
  3. So I don't have to remove the floats then? I thought they might be hiding under there? Scott
  4. I know where the main jet is but were is the damn idle jet located in the stock carb. Trying to rejet but stuck until I find that crappin idle jet loctaion. I know this is probably a stupid question but hell you have to start from some where learning. Scott
  5. I have an 02 banshee, I just installed fmf fatty's and powercore II silencers. I have a K&N air filter in the stock air-box with the front removed for better airflow. I live at 800 feet elevation. What main and pilot would you start with for normal summer time ridding? If I want to take it out when its colder I will then just bump up a couple jet sizes. Also what would be a good starting point for my airscrews. Thanks for the help!!!!!! Scott
  6. Cool thanks for the quick response!!!!!!!!! I"m off for my set of SandStars Scott

Any body help out on this? Thanks for your time!!!! Scott
  20. Where did you pick those up at? Thanks for your help! Scott
  21. Nope it was the 280's that ran good with new plugs then fouled em out. Thats why i'm thinking if it had the 240's in it and it ran good i'll just put in 250's for the winter and turn the screws like you said and it should be good. Scott
  22. Hey thanks for your help with a newbie Mopar1...!!! I'm pretty sure they were 240's that were in there to begin with so I will just go with the 250's and turn the screws like you said. I put new plugs in her yesterday and it ran like a raped ape....LOL Have I mentioned these things are faster than I thought..LOL I know damn newbies...But today I could tell it didn't want to rev as high and was most likely fouling my plugs out. I will have to put the new jets in Friday as I will be gone till then but I will be sure and let you know how it runs....I can't say thanks enough for the help!!!!!! I owe some beer somewhere sometime!!!! Scott I run with scissors as it makes me feel dangerous!!!!!
  23. Damn I sure hate being a newbie but you have to start from somewhere right? Well I ran her yesterday with the 280 jets and she wants to bog down when starting out. Almost have to get it on the pipe to start in 1st so I'm guessing the 280 jets are way to much for it like you were saying. I'm guessing its to rich on the transition to the main so that is what might be causing the bogging. If you guys think this is right or wrong please let me know. Thanks again as you guys rock!!!!! Scott I run with scissors as it makes me feel dangerous!!!!!
  24. LOL Ok even if running around 20 degree's? I just don't want to blow the motor. If you say 240's I'll go out and get some of those. Scott
