Michael Jackson Posted September 4, 2008 Report Posted September 4, 2008 How can you sync your carbs properly without the tool? look at both with your intake boots out of the way so u can see the slides good, press throttle very very very gently, and wait to see which one moves first, do it very slow because sometimes if you hit it hard and fast they both look like they are moving together, but when u really slow ur thumb down you might have one opening a split second before the other, the sync tool is just measuring the vaccume pressure on each side and giving you a reading, makes it easier.. i guess Quote

LiftdT4R Posted September 5, 2008 Report Posted September 5, 2008 After doing it by eye, and then using the tool, Ill never go back to doing it by eye. Well worth even the 55 IMHO Quote

SP hahahaha... yea, my shit is used to sighting in boobies and making sure shit is even.. i just figured with the roundness of the boobies and the roundness of the intakes it might just kinda translate over.. ill have to look into having my eyes checked for carb calibration..
