TeamRealtreeHD Posted August 28, 2008 Report Posted August 28, 2008 I'd ride my banshee to the supermarket everyday and pull a wagon behind it for the groceries Quote
pinned247 Posted August 28, 2008 Report Posted August 28, 2008 Yeah but you'd have to change your tires.... Quote
TeamRealtreeHD Posted August 28, 2008 Report Posted August 28, 2008 Pauly John can chime in on this one... he rides the roads now all the time. Heck, took his quad to auto zone on 61 the other week for some oil. Pulled it in like a car in the parking space like it was his mazda Quote

2smokefan Posted August 28, 2008 Author Report Posted August 28, 2008 The reason i was asking is a town in a southern indiana county that already allows rural on road use is getting ready to draft up a ordinance to allow quads to be ridden in town. It will still have to be voted on to pass but looks like it already has some supporters. If you have a few minutes and would like to show some support maybe read through the comments at the bottom of these pages and recommend the pro atv comments. LINK LINK Quote

Keyser Soze Posted August 28, 2008 Report Posted August 28, 2008 There are four or five counties in Indiana where you can ride everyone but state highway. You have to register your quad. Quote

sheeblue01 Posted August 28, 2008 Report Posted August 28, 2008 I wish it was my county.. I would love to be able to ride it on the roads everywhere. I would have a 68mm cub motor and some street tires. Along with the IMS 5 gallon or however big it is tank. I could just see it now; stretched out banshees running around puttin a hurtin on some street bikes in the 8th mile. Quote
Keyser Soze Posted August 28, 2008 Report Posted August 28, 2008 Straight up it does. If there are no Highways in city limits A city ordiance cannot interfear w/ county or state. Good example is Greene County. Quote
Keyser Soze Posted August 28, 2008 Report Posted August 28, 2008 What makes this so cool. The county where seymour is located does not allow ATV usage on public roads, but the city would Quote
2smokefan Posted August 28, 2008 Author Report Posted August 28, 2008 (edited) What makes this so cool. The county where seymour is located does not allow ATV usage on public roads, but the city would Actually jackson county does. You just have to register them which cost like 10 bucks and put some #'s on the bike like a boat has. oh ya, what do you guys mean when you say "cub" motors? Edited August 28, 2008 by 2smokefan Quote
278 Posted August 28, 2008 Report Posted August 28, 2008 yeah bro I'd definantly ride mine, and im in alaska so in the winter which is only like 8 months id just where some warm clothes, that would be bad @$$! up here though as far as I know all we have to do is have a head and tail light, blinkers, and license plate and just register it as a motorcycle i was actually thinking about doing it!
