  1. I too am getting ready to replace my clutch and I am thinking now that I will get the FAST clutch. I am wondering (for those of you that use it now) if you are using Type F ATF or if you are using motor oil with this setup.
  2. I would also be asking myself why somebody was in my yard at all. Is anything else missing?
  3. You don't have any friends that would have picked them up to mess with you do you? Or maybe somebody whos @ss you were about to kick with the new cylinders? Good luck tracking them down.
  4. You really need to do a plug chop to see how your jetting is then make the change and do it again. Reading the plug is the only good way to know if your jetting is good. If it looks like you're running rich just pull the lid and then recheck with new plugs. If it already looks close or lean then you better go up a jet or two before running it with the lid off and then recheck with new plugs.
  5. Good point. I was thinking that he would probably be able to make use of the splitter portion regardless of the manufacturer but it would be best to just buy the correct one. It might just be as cheap and faster to buy a new twist throttle kit.
  6. It looks like the right one to me.
  7. I agree that MotionPro is the way to go. www.motionpro.com
  8. Boobies are always okay in my opinion, but I do believe there are rules against the exposed ones on this forum. Gotta keep the kiddies safe. An adult part of the forum where stuff like that is allow would be cool but I think Lee is probably busy enough already without dealing with that kind of headache. A guy can dream though. BTW, if you do every remember the name of the chick in your avatar be sure to let me know.
  9. Indeed! I cannot dispute your logic!
  10. Aw man, I don't want to wait until tomorrow! And what about the avatar chick!? Come on, don't keep a boob lover hangin'. Boobs and Banshees, what could be better?
  11. I want to know who the chick is in his avatar. I like the big boobies! Oh, and the little turbos are cool too.
  12. BTW, I don't think an air leak will cause a stuck throttle. High rev maybe, but not stuck. Does it feel like the carbs are pulling the trottle closed or does it feel like the cable is slack? Also, I have a hard time believing you would only have an air leak when you get it wet. My opinion for what it's worth.
  13. This has been a common problem with many Banshees that run the stock carbs for as long as I can remember. Mine used to do it as well. The best 'fix' is to get aftermarket carbs (that is what I did and I couldn't be happier about it). You can play around with the stock carbs and you might find a working solution for yours. Do a search and you'll see that this has been discussion hundreds of times. Here is a link to one of my favorites. Old Topic Link
  14. I would say that if the left plug is wet and the other appears to be rich then perhaps you need to remove/clean and adjust your carbs. Are you choking it too long? Perhaps your floats are sticking.
  15. +8 timing? That's got to be one of the highest advances I've heard of someone using. I only have mine advanced +3 and 170psi. I run 110 octane in mine. I think I need to boost my timing up a little more. I just haven't thought about it since I started running the race fuel.
  16. I started out with a J-Arm frame and upgraded to an A-Arm frame because the J-Arms do not provide the same level of stability and strength that A-Arms do. I would find a different way to mount your sway bar. I doubt you'll be happy with J-Arms. Especially after the first time you bump into something and end up having to replace the arm.
  17. The toughest one I ever took off was on my friends Polaris and I ended up using about a six foot steel tube on the wrench. Leverage is a wonderful thing.
  18. Also check to make sure the little tube that joins the two carbs is in place and tight. That is what is supposed to richen the carb that doesn't have the choke on it.
  19. I use a Motion Pro twist on mine. I've had it for 10+ years now.
  20. What oil and mixture are you using?
  21. Haha, that kind of looks like a loading accident! You gotta do whatever works. I prefer using a trailer.
  22. I wonder if anyone has mentioned this to Lee.
  23. I guess I really haven't noticed it with other web sites either, so it could just be this forum.
  24. Yeah, I've noticed that problem too. I had just figured it was a problem with IE7.
  25. I am glad it isn't only me. The bummer was all the roosts I have lost in the casino when it crashes.
