  1. I'm not sure yet if I want to go to the +2 arms. The extra stability would be nice, but I'm a little worried that they mey be a little too wide for some of the tight trails I end up riding on. New shocks would also be nice, but if I stay with the stock width I could use the stock shocks until I can save up for new ones.
  2. Why not? I would think they would still look cool even if they get a little muddy once in a while.
  3. That's good to know. It would be a bummer to order a set and only get half of what you need.
  4. This may be a silly question, but here goes. When you order a set of arms from someone like Quicksand do you actually get all four arms (one upper and one lower for each side) or do you need to order two sets? I'm trying to save up for some and need to know how many pennies I will need.
  5. Good call guys. That worked. Thanks for the info.
  6. I've thought about trying that too. I would be cool to lose the big elephant ears, but still not eat mud constantly while on the trails.
  7. That's kind of funny. I have one red and on white J-Arm on mine, too.
  8. Just wondering if anyone else noticed that we are in the future a few days.
  9. Look on www.trinityracing.com for info on different carb kits by Trinity. Greydon makes one too and there are a couple others, but I can't remember what they are. Single carbs setups are good for trail riding and MX and dual carb setups are better for drag racing.
  10. Your best bet IMO is to replace them. I replaced mine last fall with a Trinity Stage IV Single Carb kit and I couldn't be happier. I just wish I had done it years ago. The stock carbs suck!
  11. Sorry, but no. I do still plan to install the whole setup one of these days. I just need to find time. I could try to get you some pictures of it if you want to see how it is made.
  12. There is/was a member named red ore that made adapters to put in the main coolant hose that would allow you to screw a sending unit for a temp guage into it. I bought one from him (looks pretty good) but still haven't had time to install it. I bought a mechanical temp guage from Checker Auto for like $20 to hook up to it. I also bought a guage pod (around $15) from the Dennis Kirk snowmobile catalog to mount the guage in.
  13. I don't care if I'm a Rookie or not, but I think I'm in love with Banshees and Beer's avatar! Of course some of the others are nice too!
  14. Me too! Me too!! I want one!
  15. 1. Have you had a problem when hitting water? YES 2. Did it bog or rev? Rev 3. Do you have stock carbs? YES 4. Do they have the tors still on top? NO 5. What year is your banshee? 1988 My throttle has always stuck when hitting water and it also used to die shortly after until I took the wire harness apart and sealed the crap out of it. Now it only has the sticking throttle.
  16. I have T5's and really like them, but when I got mine I did not get them chromed. If I ever get another set I'll definately have them chromed. 8)
