  1. I've never had a problem with my shee in the trails... i can out run my friend's raptor any day through the woods. The powerband will take some getting used to, but once you do, you'll love it. It will be just like any other 2 stroke... not much bottom end, all mid and top, but there are exhaust setups that will give you more bottom end. You will also have to do alot more shifting than with a 4 stroke, but it becomes second nature in no-time. Over all... you have to make a few sacrifices such as riding alone at times (seeing as how you'll outrun everyone else), dry skin due to wind, sore ass (tends to slide you to the back of the seat when the throttle's hammered), and your eyes will water from the quick accerleration. But it's all worth it to have the easiest quad to get power out of, and the best 4 wheeled addrenaline rush ever.
  2. How do you expect people to help you out or give you an intelligent response if they have no clue what you just typed because you keep running all your sentences together like you have no clue what's going on in the world today but i guess that's ok cause you're like 15 and all and gramar's not important so I guess if you were to call 911 in an emergency and tried to get help for yourself and didn't speak with proper gramar and they hung up on you because they couldn't tell what you were saying and then you died but then no one would know what your tombstone said because there wouldn't be proper gramar on it so people would tosh trash on your grave instead of flowers and no one would know who you were but once again that's ok cause you don't care about gramar so how's the weather been I guess it's snowing but who knows from your post without gramar but banshees rule in the snow mine works fine at least it would if it was back together in one piece after a mishap at the local track i hope it's back together by spring cause i want to go to st anthony and ride the dunes there is a nice place to eat there too but i don't know how much it cost it's about to snow here shame my banshee's not running it's in the garage stipped down to the frame and motor but i'm waiting on my tax returns so i can fix it I should be getting damn near 4000 dollars then the banshee will be better than it's even been oh by the way if you didn't notice there's no gramar in my entire post but like whoa i think you'll understand it ok at least i hope so cause i'd hate to confuse you but have fun being grounded while it's snowing with your banshee sucks to be you cause you're mom and I are going to have to ground you for the rest of your life sucks don't it
  3. I thought they taugh kids gramer and punctuation before they hit the age of 14 or 15. Break your post down into sentences so we can actually read it.
  4. been there, done that, still having a blast! Been almost non-stop drinking, movie watching, partying, etc...
  5. Can't help it... but I do the best I can at such a young age. So what do ya think about a pic Brooke??
  6. I think I made it here shortly after the upgrade from the 54 forum... can't remember though... i've had several different names since the first day I joined.
  7. you're best bet is to go buy a chilton or haymes repair manual. I think the haymes manual for ford trucks covers 80 - 96... but I could be wrong... I have a haymes for a bronco which also has info for the f-150 and f-250. I'll check it tomorrow when it's not as cold outside.
  8. I wouldn't want to push my luck... so whatever you think would work... clothing optional of course.
  9. Thank's Led... I forgot all about everyone else being able to tell it was my b-day... I kept it kinda secret around the base so no one would know... lol I've been around on here since I got out of tech school in Texas and moved to Montana. Just haven't posted as much as I used to... but I've left my mark around. I have a feeling in a week or so I'm going to be on alot asking questions once I start rebuilding the shee... right now shee's down to frame and engine in the garage. I appreciate that evil... it's been awhile since I've talked to ya. Last night was good.... stayed home and ordered pizza with a friend and my wife... finished off some Jose Gold that was in the fridge (3/4 of a bottle straight... no need to dirty up a glass, lol), couple of beers, and a glass or two of Crown. That was gone within about a 2 hour period...but I think I have an inability to get drunk, but I do have a nice headache going on, lol. It's weird... my buddy gets drunk easily, but never has hangover's, even after he attempted to get one to find out.... and I can't seem to get completely plastered and drunk where I can't even walk at all, but I get small hangover's. Go figure. Thank ya Brooke! How about a B-day pic of you that I could share with the HQ? What do ya say?
  10. I'm serving my time at Malmstrom AFB in Montana. I never understood why the navy sent people to Tinker... unless it's for aerial surveilance or something. I wish I could be stationed back home at Tinker, but I don't have a chance in hell with my career field.
  11. Glad to hear you've returned unharmed. Congrats on sewing on staff sarg... I'll be there one day... if I don't go crazy first.
  12. I may have to take a trip to WA once my shee is fixed. I haven't been able to go play in sand since I moved from Oklahoma to Montana. P.S. Topic moved to General until pics are posted... at which time it will be moved to Images.
  13. My preference would be OSU takin' the championship, but since my underdogs don't have a chance... and they lost to OU, I guess I'll have to reluctantly root for OU, seeing as how I'm a native born Oklahoman... gotta see someone representin' OK.
  14. Really depends... just mount them each way and drive around for a bit and test them out. I had some subs in my ranger... faced them backwards and they sounded better... where as my original sub I had facing forward. Really depends on the box in my opinion. You get most of the sound from the voice coil at the back of the sub... whereas your reverberation (sp?) comes from the cone itself. The box affects both. If the box's material is thin... then you'll get more of the sound from the voice coil than if it was thicker. Ported boxes, band pass, and sealed all have factors as well. Ported = increased air flow inside of box... deeper bass sound, less hit and crispness Band pass = pressure added to both sides of woofer... crispest bass, hardest hit, lighter tone Sealed = pressure to back side of woofer... crisp bass, hard hit, good tone.
  15. I'm near there... Great Falls, MT to be exact. I've only lived here since the end of july, but I could see what info I could track down for you. Don't know why you'd want to move to Montana though, lol.
  16. i've never run any other paddle on mine except GBC paddlemasters. I have ridden a friend's banshee with skat-trak edges and one with haulers. I'm hooked on my paddlemasters though. They turn great, hook up nicely, and I've run them in sand, snow, mud, and over rock and asphalt going from one area to another. They're 2 years old and show some wear and tear, but just rounded edges on the paddles. One has a small chunk out of the paddle, but it doesn't affect the performance. They are a bit heavy though, and the paddles are tall... 1 1/2 inches approximately. They've run well on my stock shee without a single problem.
  17. My mixed gas saved me when I moved up here to Montana. It was almost midnight and the gas gauge on the 24 ft U-Haul dropped below E. Normally you would have some extra time before the gas would run out, but a truck that big doesn't use gas sparingly. We were in the middle of nowhere and the nearest gas station was 30 miles away. I poured what was left of one 5 gallon jug, and a full one, of 32:1 banshee gas in the empty tank. Needless to say, we made it to the gas station on fumes. Checked the plugs while we were waiting on the 40 gallon to fill up... didn't notice anything unusual about them. Drove the rest of the 600 miles without a single problem. I do know for a fact that the older model ranger's are stout as hell. My grandpa has owned them for farm trucks. He ran nothing but 50/50 mix of unleaded and natural gas in his last one. No alterations done to the engine what-so-ever. He recently retired it due to transmission problems and bought an 02 edge. Don't know if he's running 50/50 in it, or not... but I wouldn't doubt it.
  18. I haven't read every single post on here... and I know SOMEONE's going to talk shit about my opinion/view on this matter, but whoever that may be can kiss my United States Air Force ass!!! About the President... I know he makes mistakes, and doesn't always do everything perfect... but all these people have no right to criticize Bush for it. No one, no matter what they think, is perfect. "Ye who have not sinned, may cast the first stone." Most of the things that go on in the world are never known to anyone except maybe 5% or less of the US population. If people knew everything that was going on with the government, foreign countries, etc... there would be pandamonium to deal with. So what if the claim was or was not that Iraq had WMDs, the point is we're over there helping people who otherwise can't fend for themselves, or choose not to for fear of retaliation.I speak for myself when I say I would gladdly go over and give my life to help someone save what little freedom they have. Seeing as how my squadron is non-deployable, i'll continue to defend those serving over-seas from pompous people who think they know what's best for the troops. Half of the so called "conspiracies" throughout the years are thought up by people who have no lives and want to spread gossip. People hear these conspiracies, choose to believe them because there isn't any other believable explaination for it, and continue to spread the gossip. As far as the WMDs... no one thought Russia had them for awhile... now Russia and the US work together to preserve the limitations on nukes outlined in the Geneva Convention. Thing is, Russia doesn't even know exactly how many they have. They've lost track of so many of them... we could think they only have 5,000, when they could actually have 50,000. No one knows... maybe the government does and hasn't released any information. Maybe Irag has WMDs and the information hasn't been released, then again, maybe they don't. What would you prefer?? Living in fear and knowing Irag has WMD, or live in peace and enjoy your life knowing they don't? Forget about WMDs, conspiracies, etc... and focus on supporting the troops who volunteered their lives to help out a nation in need. Airman 1st Class Griebel 341st Nuclear Weapons Maintenance Squadron
  19. You are worth exactly $1,964,262.00... not bad for no knowledge of my actual job. Based on that I should be worth billions!!!
  20. 71.... I got caught off guard when the guys pics popped up.
  21. If i'm remembering the address correctly... Need 4 stickers I don't know if they have a banshee... didn't the last time i looked. I FINALLY found one from a local vendor, but haven't put it on yet. I'll get pics when I do.
  22. Always good to have a new face around here. Respect the shee, otherwise you may end up worshiping the ground often.
  23. Grand river racing, Patriot racing, and Passion racing right off hand. There's others I'm sure.
