  1. I've had mine in a 97 nissan hardbody, and a 00 ranger flareside. It slipped in the nissan fine because of the bedliner... the ranger had some difficulties, but it could be done. I eventually made small ramps about 4 inches high and set them next the the tire wells, no problems after that. I've even fit mine in the back of my bronco with the top still on. Point in case... you can fit a shee in/on anything if you want to go riding bad enough. (Note I put the EX at the front of the trailer to catch rocks and in case one of them tried to bail, it would go first)
  2. 35x12.5x15 ProComp MTs... only been stuck due to open differentials. They're wearing ok for a TTB dana 44 up front. Can't wait to get that piece of shit out and a solid under it.
  3. Should have about a foot to a foot and a half already.... but we've had one hell of a warm streak. So far we've gotten maybe 3 inches total... but it's all melted.
  4. God damn racist mother fucker... I'm calling Bush on you... this is going to be all over W.E.T, and the United cracker ass motherfocker association is gonna have your ass for it, and start claiming that you caused earthquakes in California to dump all the punk ass whiteboys in the ocean. Out of the "5 years" you've been here, I have yet to see this "ungodly amount of 'stuff' you have to offer" the members of the HQ. 95% of the posts I've seen by you have been degrading to someone, or accusing them of turning the site into a so-called "white trailer trash sespool of racist hate."
  5. Woohooo!!! My 2 cents!!! If you'll take the time to notice, almost every thread (not all of them) where someone gets flamed, it's usually for good reason, even if it's not aparrent at the time. Example: Timmy pops on the forum one day... spends 3 minutes reading new stuff, then makes a post asking what the top speed of a banshee is. Timmy gets flamed. Timmy responds to the flaming, by flaming the people who flamed him. The flamers then jump to their defense, and flame Timmy for flaming them, who flamed Timmy in the first place for asking a stupid question. Timmy then tells the flamers that they had no right to flame him, and they're poopy heads who ride with dildos on their seats, and they need to grow up. Timmy gets flamed again, even worse. A wise old BHQ member doesn't flame Timmy, but instead tells him he should have searched the forums for threads on top speed first, before posting. Just so happens, the wise old BHQ member and previous members, who have left because of people whining about flamers and off topic posts in the General section, have made multiple posts in the past answering the question of "what is a banshees top speed". Lesson: Timmy searches next time before posting. Timmy finds threads on the topic he was looking for, but doesn't find the "exact answer." Timmy makes a post about searching for an answer, but not finding what he was looking for. Members applaud him for searching, then help with his search and give him more info that may not have been included in previous posts. Members see that Timmy is willing to try and help himself first, instead of relying on everyone else at the drop of a hat, and becomes a respected member of the BHQ community. You honestly cannot claim to have ever seen a new thread, that's on a topic that was discussed several months ago (and has a thread full of info), and never thought... good lord, if only that moron had searched a bit, he would of found all the answers to his questions. But he chose to be lazy instead..... someone should let him know the error of his ways. We've all done it. Some people are so bored, that they prey on threads/people like that. ------------------END FORUM EDICATE 101------------------
  6. whole site went down now.... they've got a password window that pops up and says "wait_while_we_fix_it"
  7. I think the whole site just took a dump from all the e-traffic. I made it to page 47 before I started getting error messages. That's some fucking hilarious shit.
  8. Found this on a Bronco forum and figured it would be a spiffy idea to help members get together for rides, etc... Make sure to include your HQ member name! Banshee HQ Member's Map Anyone mind putting this as a "Pinned" thread? Edit: Link updated so you don't have to wait for it to redirect you.
  9. I think both of you should reward the HQ for having to listen to the personal problems you two are having by posting pics of your women on your shees. God knows I'll forget all about this "he said she said bullshit" after admiring the ladies.
  10. I agree with buying a diesel and doing some upgrades. I couldn't find it online to link to it, but there's a video floating around of a black F350 crew cab racing a white ricer. the 350 blows right past the car and racks a 11.42 @ 118mph. A f**king 4x4 diesel!!! That's how you turn heads... running a truck past cars like they're standing still, and still being able to haul a travel trailer to and from the dunes.
  11. I'm getting ready to switch to Vonage myself. Only thing is they don't offer numbers for Montana... so we're going to go with one from Oklahoma, that way family can calls us and it doesn't cost them long distance. Only issue with that is that if anyone from Montana calls us, they get charged long distance. Enter the cell phones, which we already have, with local numbers. We wanted to be able to get in touch with each other easier and be able to call for help if we're stranded in the snow somewhere. We know one couple that has it already, but they use an Arizona number I believe. They're happy as can be with the service.
  12. Jesus Christ... someone's soft hearted. You give me a hard time and I can't give one back. I though every Bob the Builder was tough. By the way... silos are built by DoD and DoE appointed contractors and roads are maintain by the DOT, unless the snow needs to be plowed to get to a site. Hell, one out of 3 aint bad. Where in the hell did you get the idea that I said I was "special" for working with nukes? Did a hammer fall off a shelf and hit you in the head while you read my last post? There's only 5% or so of the AF that actually gets to work on them... and that includes the "Nuclear Weapons Maintenance Techs" (myself), Explosive Ordenance Disposal units for emergencies, and the DoE personnel who are appointed to transport the warheads. It's not a glamorous job and by no means does it make me "special", but it is an exclusive job that not just anyone can do. Nice insult about nuke techs being ammo troops... but we only work in conjunction with them... never as a part of there AFSC. They can play with the little fireworks... I'll stick to the bombs with the bigger boom. P.S... my info is accurate according to what has been given to me... which is twice as good as any info any recruitor would ever give. --------------------------------------------------------------------------------- Back to the matter at hand... bansheefox... there are down sides to any job or training, and I hope you are able to persue your degree in the manner that you want to. Sometimes you just have to bite the bullet and take other roads to get to where you want to go. Good luck though.
  13. Sticking to a normal, casual, routine confuses people... such as the liberalist and other groups who hate bush. Guess what... confuses terrorist to. The second somebody who is watching the activities of the Pres notices something different like him staying in the office longer, or going all over the place meeting with military leaders, they think/know something is up and plans are on the drawing boards. We get told that all the time here when we get word of suspicious people lurking around the base or around the launch facilities. We report it, then go about our business as usual so they don't have a clue what's going on. Simple military tactics are usually the ones that go unnoticed. No one needs to underestimate the Pres... everything he does is for a reason, it's his job.
  14. No worries. Never been to glacier yet... just the surrounding areas about an hour... 2 hours from Great Falls. I plan on getting up that way before my enlistment is up. The locals claim that the state is in a drout (sp?) right now and has been for 7 years or so, but there's a road that goes by the river and at one point, the water is only a foot below the edge of the road. When I got up here July of 04, it rained almost every afternoon at 4 on the dot for at least an hour or 2. As for the winter... it snows some almost everyday... then melts near spring, only for the spring snow to come and cover everything for another month or so. I don't understand how they consider this a drout since I'm used to Oklahoma and seeing a lot less preciptation than this. But what do I know... I've only been here for a little over a year now.
  15. I actually enjoy the snow up here... the wife on the other hand hates it. Hopefully I will be able to play in the snow a bit more this winter... picked up a deal on 2 snowboards with bindings... 100 bucks a piece brand new. Should be entertaining as I try and learn the tricks of the trade so to speak. I agree with the WMD... nothing but a few needles in a gigantic hay stack. I myself would rather it take years to find evidence that they are/aren't there then for them to give up and just assume they don't have any. I'd rather have that confirmation and peace of mind knowing that the threat does/doesn't exist. I find it interesting that people assume a WMD is something big and noticeable... when in fact one that can level a city within a 500 mile radius could fit in a 55 gallon drum, and have room for packing peanuts... if it tickles your fancy.
  16. Wow... i guess you're tha man... my bad. I was just looking at my Air Forre AEF ID card that I was issued last year for my AFSC just in case they decided to make us deploy in a pinch, and it had my AEF as a max of 90 days. If the Air Force has went to a minimum 120 days, I've been unaware of it and apologize for not receiving the memo... which had made you doubt my involvement in the Air Force. I guess the radiation from the nukes I work with on a daily basis has been messing with my brain. I guess my third testicle is the least of my worries now.
  17. not fields are deployable... i'm not. most are though, and unfortionately, CE deploys alot. Not sure about any other branch, but the Air Force deploys for 90 days at max for most fields, except if there's extreme circumstances, then they can extend up to 180 days. If college is already paid for, then do that, but if not, i'd rather have the extra money... on top of getting paid to learn. Just me though.
  18. Alive and kickin in Montana for another 4 years.
  19. Try any branches of the military... they have civil engineer fields and basically pay to train you, instead of you paying to be trained. Only down fall is basic training for 8 weeks, but what's 8 weeks of getting paid to get yelled at. Something to think about.
  20. WHAT SENATOR JOHN GLENN SAID Things that make you think a little: There were 39 combat related killings in Iraq in January. In the fair city of Detroit there were 35 murders in the month of January. That's just one American city, about as deadly as the entire war-torn country of Iraq. When some claim that President Bush shouldn't have started this war, state the following: a. FDR led us into World War II. b. Germany never attacked us; Japan did From 1941 - 1945, 450,000 lives were lost ... an average of 112,500 per year. c. Truman finished that war and started one in Korea. North Korea never attacked us From 1950 - 1953, 55,000 lives were lost ... an average of 18,334 per year. d. John F. Kennedy started the Vietnam conflict in 1962. Vietnam never attacked us. e. Johnson turned Vietnam into a quagmire. From 1965 - 1975, 58,000 lives were lost ... an average of 5,800 per year. f. Clinton went to war in Bosnia without UN or French consent. Bosnia never attacked us. He was offered Osama bin Laden's head on a platter three times by Sudan and did nothing. Osama has attacked us on multiple occasions. g. In the years since terrorists attacked us, President Bush has liberated two countries, crushed the Taliban, crippled al-Qaida, put nuclear inspectors in Libya, Iran, and North Korea without firing a shot, and captured a terrorist who slaughtered 300,000 of his own people. The Democrats are complaining about how long the war is taking. But. It took less time to take Iraq than it took Janet Reno to take the Branch Davidian compound. That was a 51-day operation. We've been looking for evidence for chemical weapons in Iraq for less time than it took Hillary Clinton to find the Rose Law Firm billing records. It took less time for the 3rd Infantry Division and the Marines to destroy the Medina Republican Guard than it took Ted Kennedy to call the police after his Oldsmobile sank at Chappaquiddick. It took less time to take Iraq than it took to count the votes in Florida!!!! Our Commander-In-Chief is doing a Great Job! The Military Morale is high! The biased media hopes we are too ignorant to realize the facts. But Wait there's more!!! JOHN GLENN (ON THE SENATE FLOOR) Mon, 26 January 2004 11:13 Some people still don't understand why military personnel do what they do for a living. This exchange between Senators John Glenn and Senator Howard Metzenvbaum is worth reading. Not only is it a pretty impressive impromptu speech, but it's also a good example of one man's explanation of why men and women in the armed services do what they do for a living. This IS a typical, though sad, example of what some who have never served think of the military. Senator Metzenbaum (speaking to Senator Glenn): "How can you run for Senate when you've never held a real job?" Senator Glenn (D-Ohio): "I served 23 years in the United States Marine Corps. I served through two wars. I flew 149 missions. My plane was hit by anti-aircraft fire on 12 different occasions. I was in the space program. It wasn't my checkbook, Howard; it was my life on the line It was not a nine-to-five job, where I took time off to take the daily cash receipts to the bank." "I ask you to go with me... as I went the other day... to a veteran's hospital and look those men with their mangled bodies... in the eye, and tell THEM they didn't hold a job! You go with me to the Space Program at NASA and go, as I have gone, to the widows and Orphans of Ed White, Gus Grissom, and Roger Chaffee.. and you look those kids in the eye and tell them that their DADS didn't hold a job. You go with me on Memorial Day and you stand in Arlington National Cemetary, where I have more friends buried than I'd like to remember, and you watch <waiving> You stand there, and you think about this nation, and you tell ME that those people didn't have a job? What about you? For those who don't remember... During W.W.II, Howard Mezenbaum was an attorney representing the Communist Party in the USA. Now he's a Senator! If you can read this, thank a teacher. If you are reading it in English, thank a Veteran. It might not be a bad idea to keep this circulating.
  21. You remind me of a girl I dated for a bit... damn near identical. I can see why they wrecked. Nice shee as well.
  22. i think we need some photo evidence so we can see just how pissed she'll be.
  23. I don't care what anyone says... I find it funny too. Anyone who would run off the road because of their own ignorance is worth a good laugh. Now if he put the truck driver in jeopardy... like pulling out in front of the truck... then it wouldn't be funny because it would have been CK's fault. He didn't tell the driver to 'rubber neck' as he drove by and fail to do the responsible thing and keep his eyes on the road. Besides... evidentally it was in a residential area where the speed limit would be regulated around 25 at the max. Highly doubt it would cause any bodily harm to the driver unless they tried something like the guy with the red lifted chevy and tried to ride on the top of the truck while it was still moving. Everyone knows what video i'm talkin about.
  24. Obviously you don't get out much. Most places don't care anymore about emission from 2 strokes on the road... otherwise people with older 2 stroke street bikes like RZ 350s couldn't ride on the streets. Here in Montana, you only need a horn, tail light, head lights, a mirror, a perm. offroad sticker, and a motorcycle plate. Other areas reguire more such as signal lights and reflecters. It's all about the area you live in. Contact your DMV or local tag agency. They'll be more help than anyone on here.
