tithead, I know banshees feel fast, it will feel like your going 120-150 i think because you dont have a windshield in the way like you would in a car, but if these people who know there stuff tell you it cant go that fast, id would just believe it.

since banshees love to spin wheels, especially on gravel, I would not use holeshot agian on my trail bike, id go w/ shredders

I agree with leadfoot a part of the banshee disease is when you run out of stuff to buy, you find something, bad habit! but really, bigger carbs are overated on gas . My opinion

I try to kick start my banshee and the kickstarter wont reset itself and cause a big backfire in the left cylinder. anyone have a similar experience?

I had 28s on my350 on gas, made 77hp stock stroke!

Have you ever noticed that, there are replacement( aftermarket) parts for every part of a drag banshee, other than the cases, which would still be moded for strocker cranks. My point is that starting with a stock banshee or even a piped shee is literally a waste of $7k, or what ever you spent, if you end up going full drag. For example, I plan to buy a lonestar frame, aluminium tank, pingle petcock, Marvin shaws, T-rex, aftermarket CDI, drag axle,................................................. drag steering stem.........PVL, fullbores....................................................................................... .......Even new clear hoses, whatever I didnt mention I already have aftermarket, so why the hell did I start w/ a stock banshee?

if you are running +4 degrees and more compression, definately run more octain

with a mild port, CPI inframes, I ran 40P middle clip, 155 main (sea level)

if they are not scared, maybe you can just hone it and buy new pistons, dont think a bore will give you more power, cause it wont.

I see it this way, which is faster A banshee or Rz 350 streetbike? the streetbike . why? beacause of wind resistance (as discussed in the top speed estimate post) . there is so much wind resistance on a quad a lot may come from the the 4 tires sticking way out there, if a banshee had streetbike wheels, than it should come close to the streetbike? right? my point is... Narrow axle makes you more like a streetbike. just my opinion.

maybe Nyuk, or someone can answer this one, but Why are most streetbikes claim top speed of around 160, and if you go by what their speedo reads, 180-210mph, I know they are a bit lighter an a bit less wind resistant, but is a banshee that much slower? I know a 660 raptor wont go over 80, even with tall gears, but an R6 (600cc) will claim to go 2x faster. I know sometimes speedometers lie, My Saleen claims 200mph, but I dont think it will tag 180
