  2. I just have a pic I need brightend, mine is too dark.
  3. sure, just let me know asap if you are interest id say 100$ +15 shipping
  4. fronts and rear for $ 260 shipped douglas blue labels, 20inchers, only 1 ride, near new, you wont be sorry! dragg-on!
  5. I would ask a shop or friend that has a similar setup as you or pipes to tell you his jet sizes and match them. to fine tune you can take off filter, make sure the slides lift and rest evenly. then you can play with the airscrews on the carb till you get a 1 kick start up. screwing them in will less air coming in (richen the pilot), unscrewing it will let more air in ( lean it up). hope this helps
  6. drawbacks: cant go to a gas station and fill-up. you will burn alcohol 2x faster than gas. (although gas mileage should be the least of your worries when it comes to racing) drawback: must be purged/ flushed from motor with gasoline mix after ride/ racing. Benifit: Motor runs COOLER and FASTER!
  7. I just sold a 1yr old shock on ebay last month for 90$, search there, 1000 is too much.
  8. my shee has no low end, but once my thumb pushes the throttle all the way in, im already at my top end, and pulls hard all the way down the track. try using smaller front sprockets
  9. you can turn a lot quicker, wheelies will be made easier. if you plan to turn a lot in your riding, there are no disadvantages.
  10. OH forgot to mention, when I 1st bought a used set of 28pwk, they had aluminium slides that were worn and caused an air leak, so I called carb parts wherehouse and they recommend I switch to the chrome slides, they said this was a common problem. they were costy but fixed my problem, I recommend you ask them what can be done about your situation, I had my doubts, but it worked!
  11. Dont let it Idle too long, no air is cooling the radiator, youll overheat fast. I was told when breaking in a motor and letting it idle, place a fan in front of the radiator.
  12. if you close the air screws then it dies? so what happens if you open them slightly? i dont think its OK for the slides to be completely shut. just up a bit. try a richer Pilot and let me know.
  13. WHo me? actually yes. I have a dyno-sheet of my banshee with mods similar to yours, 1st on gas then alcohol. alcohol increased HP thoughout all RPMs. PM me if you care to see it.
  14. My builder said to ditch them on my drag motor. I dont know too much about them, I wouldnt use them cause they double-triple your chances of an airleak. and some say they add low end and response, but obviously you increase the distance from the carb to the cylinder, so I dont see how you get quicker response.
  15. add some compression like Bizkit said, where is your timing at? maybe lower the needles 1 notch
  16. Lian, not stock for stock. the real advantage on the banshee is that you can get away with 2nd gear takeoffs. which will put you in 3rd way before your opponent does. if you had to start in 1st everytime the races would be a real challenge. On dirt, banshee tires dont help either!
  17. Straight-cut puts less strain on your crank, I think thats it. no gain
  18. When you say RESPONCE, do you mean like low end power.??On your signature it says you have drag porting, and other parts related to drag racing, A true drag port, especially w/ your thunder pipes (top end) will take tons of low end away. I dont think 28s will solve your issue
  19. thunder pipes are good, dont downgrade to a DMC
  20. who did your port work?, if he is a good builder, you may be close to 90 hp. I run alcohol and I wont go back to gas. But I love short distance racing, if you are gonna miss dune or trail riding then id stay w/ gas. (your out frame pipes tell me you wont), big differance in pull, eye watering power!
  21. I would first take off the air filter and make sure both slides are low and come up evenly. try going w/ a 55p and you should be able to turn the screw out maybe 1.5-2 turns, hopefully. like I said if your slides are too high bringing them down will lessen the idle. there should be an adjustment at the thumb throttle that will bring down both slides.
  22. ya, I tried them, they give great all around power
  23. why, they are the same adds as every other month
  24. try a 45p with 3/4-1 turn out on the screws and work from there
  25. why does it say the PJ carb is discontinued?
