  1. I don't moderate this particular forum (I mod Riding events and MX), but if you find a post that is offensive, or just plain bullshit over 8 pages, click the "Report" button. A moderator will review your complaint and either delete the thread, lock it, or pass it on to Lee or another mod for a proper review. Its what its there for, and yeah...I've used it a few times, and it works.
  2. The indoor range down the street from me has one for rent at their range. $20, and one box of .50AE for $20, and you're set. They said they've had over 10,000 rounds through it, and all they had to do was put a spring kit in it. I just did that to mine after 3000. I keep mine at the shop incase someone barks at my shop rate.
  3. This is what I've been told by the sled heads here....1100-1150 is where they like to drag race at. I guess at around 1200-1250 the aluminum pistons start to get, how shall we say...mushy.... I would assume 1000F for regular day to day riding, but I don't have an egt...just an estimate. I have no personal experience other than what these guys here have told me. If I'm wrong, I'll go beat them for it.
  4. I was laughing so hard I couldn't breathe. I was laughing because I COULD NOT BELIEVE WHAT THIS BIKE WOULD DO!!!! I was in sand/dirt/grass, and I was amazed that I could turn the wheels at just about any speed under 3rd gear, slam the throttle and it would just turn.......When it would hit the powerband I would slid off onto the grab bar then the front end would come up almost verticle. I still get that feeling when I ride it on the road in front of my shop. Tar just hooks so good!!! I can be about 1/2 throttle in 3rd and just blip the front end into a wheelie. God I can't wait to go to the dunes again......
  5. You got to let me know when you're heading out there. I pulled Choke Cherry with 14/41 gearing in FIRST when it was nearly all stock. After I put pipes on it...I don't really remember. All I remember is getting stuck at nearly the top on that bastard and having to turn around. I wouldn't be surprised at all if you can do it with that stroker. I can't wait until its my turn. I bet you would do well at the face of Sand Mountain definitely. Its not as steep from what I remember of Choke. Choke is one steep summmbitch. I saw a guy in a Mazda 3B rotary powered long travel jumping up it, and down it on Memorial one year. It was insane.
  6. What about using a Yoshimura or other slip on style that is for 4 strokes?? Those 4 strokes aren't exactly quiet, and to be honest they sort of sound like a giant fart. My uncle had a 4000 watt honda that you could talk over. I have no idea what it used to silence the exhaust though.
  7. From what I know, they have rabies or something similar at birth. Just like reptiles have salmonilla. I think its just something they have.... And, as far as I know, they ONLY way to check for rabies is to have its brain inspected. The only problem with that, is you have a dead chipmunk on your hands, and an $80 vet bill.
  8. LOL@ Jerry's Kids.... I would do the looking around for small mufflers. You might be able to gang up on them if they are small enough, i.e. weld 2 in a row or something. If I had my tubing bender I could bend you up a custom sweeping chopper style pipe...lol...
  9. lol....those Fruit Loops are Fish Loops now...heh....anyone for some Orange Roughy?
  10. LOL yes...Nitro Shower....fucken burned my eyed and lungs.........I was going to go over and piss in their tool box......
  11. I think they use a weed eater engine......That be cool if you could smoke the tire although I don't think the drive mechanism (hockey puck rubbing on the rear tire) would allow you too......
  12. I bring my .44 mag DE to the ranges here. At the 3 ranges I have been to it takes about 2 clips and I have 3-4 people asking me, as one guy put it when I was at the indoor range, "WHAT THE HELL ARE YOU SHOOTING?? I'M DOWN AT THE OTHER END AND I CAN FEEL THE CONCUSSION IN MY CHEST!!!!When are you leaving?" He really asked me when I was leaving....I told him I just popped off 2 clips, so about 60-70 more rounds..... Oh and Evil, I have a shoulder holster for it. lol...I've put it on, and then put the loaded gun in it, and the thing just slides to the front. I've tried everything, but its kind of hard to keep a 12lb gun under your armpit and still be able to move.
  13. I'm thinking of porting my weedeater this year.....dunno...because if I screw it up there's at least $80 for an engine...... Anyone done this?
  14. - If spark momentarily fails early in the run, unburned nitro builds up in the affected cylinders and then explodes with sufficient force to blow the cylinder heads off the block in pieces or split the block in half. Ive seen that in person at the Winston Nationals. Fucken brutal........ Its amazing to see these in person if you've only seen them on TV like I had. After they do their burn outs, there is rubber dust floating down out of the air, sometimes even after the run is complete....you got this black rubber shit all over everything. The pits are cool too.
  15. Did you happen to catch the price per pint, and the price per quart???
  16. Seeing my mom go to the ER multiple times because of her bronchitis kept me away from anything smokable. Once she quit smoking she was fine for the most part, but can't be near anything but clean air, and that was when she was 40. I'll drink every now and again (DAMN YOU ROD!!!) but thats about it.
  17. cus he the #1 Stunnah bytch bettah ask somebody! LOL @ #1 Stunnah.... Someone needs to put that in their signature line.............
  18. I'll take a guess.... Uhm.....27 minutes and 16 seconds. The only problem is stopping to refuel.
  19. I have this Pennzoil high temp high pressure grease that I use. Don't know where it came from though... I don't remember buying it.
  20. In all honesty, my wife was one of the best duning buddies I have. She had to sell her shee to go to college but she graduates in oct. Hopefully I can convince her to buy another one. If I build one, I don't know if I could let myself build a "stock" banshee...... She wasn't a fan of the T-5's and the port work..."too scary". She could still keep up on her stocker though......I bet she could whoop on me if she could ever get used to the aftermarket engine work.
  21. About the only "negative" is you'll get an increase in head temp. The only way I even really noticed it is I had a majority of my engine work done before I had aftermarket exhaust. Once I put the T-5's on it let alot of that heat out in the exhaust rather than keeping it restricted and letting the heat build up.
  22. hehehe...she keeps me in line. I think I do more dishes than she does. BUT she does WAY WAY more laundry than I do. Yeah I think the lack of a flushing shitter turns most women off about the dunes. At Sand Mountain, they acutally have flushing shitters and sinks n stuff.
  23. LOL You know as well as I do, I can't calculate yield worth a shit. It could be 1 kiloton for all I know.
  24. Hows aboot a 3KT nuke?
  25. Women typically hate the dunes for the first time...My wife loved it the first time out, but my buddies old lady hated it. Then she liked it. I don't know if he beat her into liking it or what, but she enjoyed herself....er...enjoyed being at the dunes with us. Well, I'm gonna go smack my woman around.
