You need to see if you still have that cereal box laying around that you made the gasket out of for your snowmobile this winter. You if you don't have compression, wouldn't it get better as it got hotter? When its cold, I thought there was more ring/bore clearance than when its heated uo, and in most cases wouldn't start. Dunno....just throwing it out there for you. You checked spark, so I don't think it would be the stator going out when it gets hot. But then again....I've never experienced these types of problems....hehe..... It starts fine, but then only runs on the left cyl.....

What do those index numbers mean? is it a pitch to pitch measurement?

Where To Buy A Tachometer For The Shee
Cotton eyed Joe replied to icemanscold's topic in General Banshee Discussion
Well, the Banshee has a spark fire every 180 degrees, like you said, and since there is only one coil to pick up on, it sees it as complete rotations. And, on a 4 stroke, it fires once every 720 degrees. So what your tach was thinking it was seeing was something like 4x the actual rpm. See if you can find a 40,000 rpm tach . -
As much as I admire big companies for doing big things, and making big money...I agree with you right there.....If someone has the schooling, the technology and the skill to see whats going on....why the hell not? Not that I can, or would, its just a nice theory to talk about.

I agree with Jethro/Mullet kid....can't we all just get along???? and lo and behold....... NOW THATS WHAT WERE TALKING ABOUT!!!!!!! (don't take me seriously. I'm tired, its late.)

I'm hoping to get a set of brake rotors (fronts and rears) cut with some of those very designs I mentioned a couple posts back. I have to cut a test piece on my mill this weekend and if it works out, then have them laser cut, then blanchard ground. I have to source some high carbon stainless though.... Oh, and I might be getting that bender in the next month or two btw, so I'll start on designing that wheelie bar. I might have an idea on adjustability, but damn, getting it to where the threads on the adjusting part don't get buggered is going to take some research. I might have it though....I'll just have to make one and beat the shit out of it on the pavement in front of my shop.

Exactly!!! At my shop the only way we turn away work, is if we truly don't have the time and its too small of a job and the customer doesn't want to wait. If the customer doesn't mind paying a little more if we have to tear down and set up a machine for their job we will do it. Most of the time we just do everything we can and put in the over time.

I test all sorts of shit. I tested my wifes patience all day yesterday, and I'm about to start now. I tested a dc motor at work. Tested a theory that when a company that I used to do a great job for pissed on me 4 years ago it was a matter of time they would come back to me. Now my prices have changed, and so has their attitude.

I got laughed at right to my face by some dickwad at Vescos once. I won't go back. Let me know how it went.

In the last year and a half the only place I've ridden is Dumont in CA. I like Sand mountain and St. Anthonys. I've been to St. Anthonys more in the 6 years I've had my banshee, but I can't say I like it there more. SM is a nice place too.

So basically its like putting in a new rear end, and you have to set the pressure angles n shit? I'mma take a look in the Clymers today. I've never seen that part before.

I think McMaster Carr has everything.

I haven't done it, and I'm terrified to even think about it. I use basically any type of oil that is dark. Mostly because I lose track of shit from time to time, and my mower really hates to run pre mix. LOL Thats were I burn my "I don't know if its mixed or not" gas. Looks like you're from my neck of the woods.

LOL no info yet. As far as I know I will have at least 10 different designs, but I have yet to aquire a set of blank rims. I may or may not be able to here in the near future. Kind of depends on how stuff goes in the next week or so. I'm working on another DDI part, and its going to take some cash to get it off the ground.

Sex Ed Video For Anyone Who Can't Figure It Out
Cotton eyed Joe replied to Holyman's topic in Online Auction Watch
WTF???? I think I've heard of this honestly. Not that I'm 'tarded or anything...but I think I've seen it mentioned somewhere before....on TV if I'm not mistaken.... Look like some seriously funny shit. Does anyone know if Blockbuster would have this? -
Thats what these are. 2" x 10" spindle mount rims.
-
I can't think of how it could bind in 3 places Honestly I can't see it binding or getting tough to turn past one place. Did you figure it out yet?
-
Maybe you can try to attach them to the stock pipe brackets up front with another support going to the unimportant exhaust port thats what im wanting him to do so i can still switch beetween my -2 and stock pegs and still have gaurds intacked i just want a little bling plate to keep the boot outta the tire, and still be able to manouver around my pegs, if i wanted to look like a homo i could allways run the stock shit that attaches to the peg and fender......im just fuckin with ya Stan, one of these days you'll pop up with a set or two and ill take them off ya........ AHHH....now we're getting somewhere. Now I understand the reason not bolting to the pegs themselves.....What about not attaching to the PEGS, but to the frame mounts that the pegs bolt to?
-
I won't be able to offer them with the rubber..... I don't know what most people prefer for what they ride. I know that the asphalt guys use a scooter tire, but I have no idea other than that. lol.
-
Why thank You Stan...... I swear to god I will if I can ever figure out how to attatch them to the frame and NOT the foot pegs.....I dont know if it can be done that way and still be sano.......

For some reason when I drink a beer, it leads to 30. I don't like to drink all that often, and I kind of think its a good thing for me to avoid.

Does it still only work with the older systems? I used to know someone that did it with an older system, and I almost bought the shit I needed, but then didn't. I kind of wish I had since I hate everything on cable except the Dave Chappelle show.
