GOD DAMN!!! You planning on going nuts and driving through your city knocking buildings over??? Thats some serious machinery....I like the one with the tracks. They have those for sale up near St. Anthony in the city of Rexburg right across from the Chevron. I think I have to be pre approved before I can even ask how much one costs. Why do I always feel like Im in the wrong business

That makes perfect sense to have warning labels on the steering stem Ben. Think about it. Whats the first thing you do when you get on your Banshee?? You look up and down the steering stem looking for warning decals. Hell I've done it 3 times just today!!!! They also need to put warning stickers on the insides of the tires, as well as on the shift lever, hand grips, on the seat foam itself, and inside the carburators. That way if you happen to re jet your carb let say....you see a warning label to remind you that this woman is a fucking moron. Oh one thing I forgot. My banshee is dangerous and mis labeled. I started it, pinned the throttle with it in gear and up on blocks and took a nap. It nearly flew out from underneath me!!!!!! I was both shocked and angry that Yamaha didn't warn me that it could be dangerous to do that. -
Just different gear ratios for the front and rear. If you take the larger tires diameter and divide it by the smaller tires diameter it gives you a number. (looking at it probably 1.something or 2. something) That number is what you would multiply the rear ratio by to get the front to turn the same speed.

Cell Phone Internet Connection?
Cotton eyed Joe replied to dlnoss's topic in General Banshee Discussion
My Verison can, but I don't know if it displays all pages. I don't have the service enabled, since I have no real need for it, but my nephew does, and from what I remember there were only a few sites he could visit. BHQ wasn't one of them....but this was about a year ago too.... -

I think they have to put that there, kind of like the "Careful Coffee MAY Be Hot." Some people LOVE to think that ignorance is bliss. They pull that bullshit "I didn't know" excuse out of their ass at every turn. I think those are the people that shouldn't get anything in a lawsuit. The Judge should tell them "I hope you learned something then!" And then go on about how an education is better than a $4.5 million dollar settlement. -
what to do when you first get a shee

Get some clean underwear. If its running right it will be a highlight of your life. I still remember the first ride on my banshee. Hell we even got the cops involved with that one. Just get used to it, then worry about modifying it later on unless you got some good experience. -
I like the checkered flag paint, but its too much. He needed to break it up a little more on the nose and tank.

no. Start her off on something "easy" like flat loose dirt, stay away from anything with traction, but you might want to take the time to explain things like the clutch, and how it works (friction point, not holding it in and reving the piss out of the engine), how the 2 stroke engine works, why the power band is so snappy etc You might want to even go as far as to explain about mixing the gas so you don't end up with a surprise if she doesn't know.... Make sure she understands it so she doesn't end up getting hurt most importantly. And when she tells you there is something wrong with your banshee, or its not running right, just ignore it. lol

I've tried the Aircraft remover. All it did was burn my hands, and it took forever to get the paint off. I might have been using it wrong though Sand blasting or bead blasting is the way to go. I think I paid something like $25-$35 to get my first frame blasted. Most places that do a frame have to do it outside in a booth rather than in a cabinet, so there aren't a ton of people around here that can just do it.

I hope they are better than the Darvocet I was taking for my pulled muscle in my back last week. I think taking 4-5 Advil did more for the pain, I just wasn't as entertained by dumb shit.

Damn "cuz" you're lucky you didn't land on something and splinter a rib into one of your vitals. You must have landed flat as hell and spread that force out. Take some asprin or something so you don't end up with a blood clot, because I'm sure you've got a bruise.

One of the best lines is when Mugatu yells "I FEEL LIKE IVE BEEN TAKING CRAZY PILLS!!!" Will Ferrel is hilarious. Also when he's hemming the dress on that model and pokes her in the ass with the needle "OH IM SORRY DID MY NEEDLE GET IN THE WAY OF YOUR GIGANTIC ASS?? LOSE 20 LBS IMMEDIATELY!!!" I also liked "WHAT IS THIS???? A CENTER FOR ANTS??!!! WHAT GOOD DOES IT DO IF THE KIDS CAN'T EVEN FIT IN THE BUILDING??" HAHA Ben Stiller has made some shitty movies, but I kind of like this one.

Kid Rock's Banshee

I could believe that part either....I'm sure they keep their gas somewhere safe, but still....I wouldn't want to burn someones paint or for that matter, set my shop on fire. I too got sick of the wife drama. It sounded exactly like what went on in the first and second shows. Big deal. I want to see some fabrication. Its the only reason I even watch. -

They both rode banshees, neither wore helmets, and they both did some light jumping. Then they shot Mini-14's. -
I wouldn't paint a helmet with it. The shell can't take the solvents in the paint and it will develop small hair line fractures you could call them. It won't be able to do its job after that.

This is the track I learned on and became the master that I am now. Don't live there anymore though. This is the place that I grew up in and left after high school. Those were the days. Cool freaking place Lee, thanks for finding. WHERES ALL YOUR NEIGHBORS??? -
Cool pictures!!! Riderless dirt can be a bitch. I also hate the 1/2 bike, and all 4 wheels on the ground before/after jump picture.

This was almost exactly one year before my shop was built. Now there are about 15-20 buildings in that area alone. Stan -
I want as many ATV's as I can get. Since I can't afford a sports car I figure I'll go nuts on a smaller scale.

I'm thinking the one quad I saw that I'm still thinking of buying is the Yamaha Wolverine. Saw one with 12" chrome ITPs and HUGE tires. I think they even make a lift kit for it. The thing was chromed out and just big. I think I'd have it just to cruise around on at the dunes to the shitters n stuff.

That would be kind of cool to see a legal ride, whether or not its for a charity. I think it could bring respect to our hobby/lifestyle. Perhaps even see if you could get some major sponsors and get it headlined in a local newspaper or something. Maybe you could do a ride for Ahlzimers. If you get pulled over by the cops and they ask if you have permission to ride there you could tell them "Yeah were riding for Ahlzimers....I think....Hey, How did I get way out here anyway??"

Basically its another plate that bolts onto the pressure plate. It has little L shaped fingers with counter weights that try to move outward as the clutch basket spins faster, and uses centripital force to press the pressure plate against the friction plates. You have to have a cover conversion because there simply isn't enough clearance. I've thought about making these, but I just haven't gotten around to it. Pretty simple though. The tricky part is the case mod. In some instances the case mod will hit the brake lever. They might have that part figured out now though. I haven't done all my research on that facet of the subject yet.

Well, they shouldn't have HELD you down. If you had injuries, neither of you should have moved you. Rule #1: Don't touch the victim unless he/she is having trouble breathing, and only then should you if you know CPR/Rescue breathing. Most important, just get help.
