ive got the thor t30's. i like them alot. you have to wear your boots for a while before they break in and flex some. you cant just buy a set of boots and have them perfectly comfortable to you the first day. i usually walk around in mine and just ride alot with them. eventually they will loosen up. boots come stiff because they are supposed to be somewhat stiff. otherwise people would be riding in cross trainers. they are supposed to keep your ankle from rollin over after a jump and shit like that. i like the support mine give and when im riding hard i wouldnt go without them.

saw one on ebay tonight. it was in the $100 range. are those things any good? they dont look to bad i dont think.

my banshee has 12 grand in motor, chassis and suspension mods plus the price of the bike, so im at about 17,500....if i gear it 15/41 and race a 450 with a pipe and top end mods, hes right next to me in a 300 footer and if i dont get the jump he smokes me......geared 17/40 i can beat him by 2-3 bike lengths in 300 feet, again if im hooking.....so to who ever has a piped shee that doesnt have a good 80 horse the piped 450 is faster, and a banshee with a pipe aint pulling a 17 no way in hell....its really easy to claim your 45 horsepowered banshee is smokin a yzf-450, but im racing them and they will completely walk from a banshee mod for mod......and Walter nor myself are sell outs, we are just calling it as we see it, rather than just claiming the the yz is a peice of shit.....and i will agree theres not a better feeling than haveing a 80+ ponied banshee rip your arms off, but truth be told the yz is a great bike, and fast as f*ck on a mx track or open desert....maybe watch some pro's race and see whos beatin who and on what thanks BD for telling it like it is. so many people are so stuck on their banshees that they think its the only fast quad. the yfz450 is a great quad, and it really fast in stock trim. just watch any of the videos ive posted here. my yfz is stock and going up against my brothers ported banshee. a lot of it is who gets the better start. i just wish people could start bein a little more open minded about the 450. or at least think its a good quad until they race one and get their ass handed to them. then theyll know its a good quad.

the yfz450 hands down in stock trim. im not so sure that a banshee with just pipes and air filter will walk all over a 450 tho. my brothers banshee has quite qa bit done to it, and he knows how to ride, and the 450 will keep right up with it. if you are looking for performance right out of the box go with the 450. the difference in price is about 800 bucks and for 800 you cant make the banshee handle like the 450.

as soon as i get my toomeys here, im gonna have a set of fmf gold series pipes and silencers. they seem to be a pretty good pipe. i got this banshee and it had cpi's on it when i first rode it. then i took them off and put the fmf's on. i couldnt tell any difference. they are in good shape just need cleaned up, which im gonna do when i get the toomeys. im gonna sell them reasonable. pm me if you are at all interested.

ok what you do is stand on the rear of the quad in prolly 2nd gear. rev it all the way up like until you think it sounds like its gonna blow up. then all at once drop the clutch all the way out. this is the best way to get the holeshot everytime. also practice makes perfect. jk lean forward if on pavement, lean back if in grass or dirt. use your best judgement. go out and practice, practice, practice.
