How much longer is the shock required than OEM?
For the record, I run the best suspension money can buy on our drag bikes.
And again, if you were a serious racer you'd be on a 450.
I have pics of the chart.
Bike is off the dyno.
He wants to sit down and try to explain what he did and why to eliminate a million questions.
Cam types 5 words per minute, so it may take a while.
I don't think you understand..
The computer used for the dyno does not have wifi.
He will have to upload the charts to a thumb drive and then put them on his showroom computer.
THEN he has to figure out how to get them on the site and then type an explanation.
He can barely turn on a computer, so this is a process for him.
I'm not even kidding.
Haha, I misread the text. They have been offering them since you got yours.
CP was out of stock and they weren't ready to cast them yet at the start of Control's build.
If you want to "improve" power on yours, order a set of the LEDs.
It is a pain in the ass. That's why you don't see more charts from Redline and why these will take some time to get uploaded..
Plus, he's fucking busy.
He will when he gets it together. He doesn't have wifi on the computer his dyno is hooked to..
He will have to prepare the chart, put it on a thumb drive and then put it on another computer.
Then he can upload and explain.. He's busy and shit.
I just got off the phone with Cam at Redline..
He said he will get the graphs together at some point with the Serval and Cub overlaid and then post.
You will also get a better explanation of what's going on with each set up.
You're welcome.
I don't believe so. I believe they were both 10mm castings.
At the time Control's started this project the 10mm Super Serval wasn't available. That's why it started as a 10 SC.
At some point during the build process CP decided to cast the 10 SS.
Since Cam had already set up the 10 SC he decided to go ahead and test that cylinder to see how it compared to the 10 SS.
In this case, the customer will be happier with his 10 SS for his style of riding and the LEDs compliment that setup well.
I'm sure it is. I can't keep all these builds straight long after they're done.
That said, I don't know what cylinder yours is. Either way, he can make them both work.
For clarification, when I say "low port timing," I mean that it was going to be mainly left alone. Cub specs are different than Serval specs right out of the box.
That said, isn't yours a regular Serval(68mm)?
Well, that's not 100% correct.
When this build started, CP didn't have any Super Servals.
It started as a low port timing Super Cub build.
At some point during the build, CP cast the Super Servals and it was decided to test both.
