  1. All because of the rear link set up?
  2. It's not nearly as drastic as it sounds.
  3. I'm going to the shop right now to make sure my billet cases are matching.
  4. Do you even ride bro?
  5. I was referring to shock length and placement, not traction. A no link setup will always provide the most traction.
  6. Dependent totally on how you set it up.
  7. I think that chassis is tweaked. If you look at the bottom frame rail in front and then the one behind it, it looks fucky.
  8. Yea, I would imagine it would be.
  9. Looks like he's still referring to the Elka link.
  10. How many guys run a real shock with no link?
  11. Steroids. Breakfast. Lunch. Dinner.
  12. I've never torqued bolts or nuts in OEM cases.
  13. My new favorite poster!!
  14. Sure, if you've got it and the rest of your bike is done. 90% of the guys on this website can't/won't drop $2,000 on a rear shock and link. That said, 99% of the guys on this website would never need it. $1,000 goes a long way when you're talking supporting mods.
  15. Yea, but bowling ball size rocks.
  16. Exactly. There's zero sense in spending an extra $1,000 for 1.5" in the rear suspension. That money would be better spent in the motor, wheels, tires, etc. Not one person on this website would benefit from it.
  17. Why you being so negative?
  18. Yes. A very small percentage are using the Elka link and shock. OEM rear is 14.5" I believe.
  19. Fact is, no one on BansheeHQ will notice the extra 1.5" for the money. If it was $500 total, then sure. Run a regular rear shock and have $1,000 to put elsewhere. No one on BansheeHQ is hardcore MX. No one.
  20. What "pros" are riding Banshees? :rotflmao:
  21. Any of the aftermarket rear shocks are more than adequate for a Banshee rider, regardless of skill level. I have used Elka Stage 2 and 5 and now Fox Podium. I prefer the Fox over the Elka. They typically run $900+ for a rear shock that's going to get you more adjustment than you will ever use. Not one person on this website will ever benefit from or notice an extra 1.5" of travel in the rear end. Save the money and put it in a really nice front end package.
  22. I doubt Ryan is on meth.. If he was he would have cleaned the motors he brought me.
  23. Damn, you got me! That 2" of travel will definitely make or break the rear suspension. $1,800 is a STEAL too. You should be able to bomb some huge jumps now. I'm looking forward to the pictures.
  24. LOL. An extra 1.5" of travel for what, $2,000? I think people can see who the idiot is.
