    I'd get rid of that single carb shit ASAP. Do a WOT plug check and see what color the electrode is.. White/grey = lean Tan = good Brown/black = rich Being way too lean or way too rich can cause overheating. Just need to see where you're at.

    A dyno can get you close, but the sand puts a huge load on the motor, which is different than the load from the dyno. What carbs and jetting?

    Not necessarily true. A dyno is a tuning tool but that doesn't mean it'll be the same in the real world. I bet you're lean.
