i see no reason to put it back on with an impact thats for sure. tighten it down some and then bend those tabs back over.. you dont want it so fuckin tight you cant get it off without and impact, unless you got one strapped to the back of your bike all the time.
i dont have a duramax but ive got 2 cummins.
my 01 has a no name brand full 4" exhaust. i think i paid 350 for it. i know those name brand ones are ridiculously priced. my 01 has a BD chip, works pretty well..
my 05 cummins has the edge with attitude monitor. its a sweet setup. you can adjust everything on the go and the power increase is unreal. since my 05 already had a full 4" exhaust i just cut out the muffler and ran straight pipe thru for a little better sound. i dont wanna take the cat out because i roadtrip this truck and dont want it too fuckin loud..

how did your plugs look? if they look good it doesnt matter if you think 360 is too big. all motors usually require a little different jetting. i say if your plugs look good then leave it. in the summer, jet down one main jet size..
hmmm... 320 was too lean for that setup at 3200 feet? stock pilot is 25. most aftermarket pipe setups require the use of a 27.5 pilot. as far as needle just use the stock one.
so youre keepin the stock blue huh? how about a metallic silver? i know you have silver now but the metallic is brighter and has the sparkle in it unlike the dull stock silver. id say either that or black. im not into blue/red, blue/yellow, blue/green or anything like that..
