i agree 100%...in fact i think lee has been avoiding a lot of issues on this site as of lately. maybe he doesnt care anymore, or whatever..i dont know the reason. bansheehq NEEDS moderators, if for nothing more than removing multiple posts or moving them to proper forums..hes been avoiding that for quite some time.. i think i even said something back then about the PS people comin over here, and im sure that was avoided too..its funny how they talk all that shit, but then run right over here when PS was charging.. i think lee needs to step up and say FUCK PLANETSAND ADVERTISING on BANSHEEHQ... whatever posts were made should be deleted immediately... also, as a paying member, i feel i help to keep the site open for myself and others. and thats fine by me. but i expect to see something out of my money.. if i dont have any say, or any influence over some issues, why should i be paying the membership??? i think some other members who are premium members should think about this also. we do pay for a reason...and to me, its not the fuckin arcade.. if PS wants to advertise, they need to be paying a BIG chunk of change. after all, this is a banshee based website..

depends on the deal you get. if he cuts you an awesome deal then go for it. talk to jeff and see how much he can get you some 33mm pwk for. jeffs motor will more than likely respond better with some bigger carbs, but you need to talk to him about it..

tom said he was gonna keep me updated on them. i told him there was already a lot of interest in them here.. i would say theyll be comparable to shearers on top with a lot more low end. they did come on very early and pulled forever..i cant wait to get mine on my bike :biggrin:

i will personally never own another durajunk again. last i knew their warranty sucked and do did their product. i run all lonestar axles but between those 2 id go with g force for sure...

thats cool man.. uhh, has your wife or you ever ridden a crf450?? those bikes have a TON of power. as for your build, id say if you do a lot of fast riding go with a 4mm cub. if youre more into cruising around then just have your stock cylinders ported.

yep no doubt lonestar..i would call them and see what theyll do for you..having no receipt might be an issue but maybe they will work with you on it..i mean, fuck, they did make the damn thing regardless of where you purchased it from and for whatever price..

nahhhh... just appears that way. i think he told me the first 10 sets are already sold or spoken for..but he is keeping me updated on the status so ill let you know as soon as i hear something. he told me he wanted to get these first 10 sets out, then build a bunch of sets so hes got some inventory and not building them as orders come in.

engine cc's is not gonna have shit to do with how fast you can go on a streetbike, especially for any rec riders.. personally, id never buy anything bigger than a 600.. why?? because, who in the fuck needs to go 160 mph?? who really needs to do 0-60 in a matter of 3 seconds? and another thing, just because youre not scared of a bike doesnt mean it wont hurt you.. when you start getting too comfortable with a bike is right when youre gonna get hurt.

well, i didnt get to get the pipe on the dyno but from the seat of the pants feel they ran hard. i rode my bike with my rockets on, then immediately switched over to the new ones. the new ones had as much or more bottom end but on top pulled harder and longer than my rockets. i was very impressed. the power came on really fast and never stopped pulling. i was bangin gears on pavement goin thru 2-4 and it was wantin to pull the front right off the ground. i didnt notice this as much with my rockets. as for the pipe builder...its Tom Borrink. he contacted me back in january about testing his new pipes since he knew my brother and i both had original rockets they he built. he sent me his test set to try out. they do have a distinct look and most def resemble rockets. they sit further up on the bike tho and the petcock and plugs seemed a little easier to get to. that shit never really bothered me tho anyway.. if you gotta check plugs all the time you got bigger problems than getting to your plugs..i talked to him yesterday and hes about 3 or 4 weeks out he thinks on releasing the first 10 sets. heres all i got for you.. :biggrin: rockets new pipes

wait another month on a new pipe to come out. ive personally tested them and they ran hard on my 10mm cub. i expect them to run hard on 4mm motors and even stock cylinder ported ones...

i just use a stock one.. :shrug:

what exactly are you trying to accomplish? if you want dune or woods porting, then have your cylinders dune or woods ported. if you dont wanna drag race then you need to stay away from after market cylinders altogether.

how does it start? no choke? 68 pilot is pretty much unheard of in those carbs. most pwk carbs run about a 42 to 48 pilot. as for the main jet, 160 is pretty much what i run in all my pwk carbs on a couple different motors. but, if your plugs are dark brown youre too rich. drop down to a 155 or 158 main jet and ill bet that itll clear up the bogging in the top end.

id go with shearers or rockets. or wait another month and there will be some new inframe drag pipes out. i have run them and they work well..

i say youre wasting your time. its gonna be a big long process to do it. the banshee frame will need to be modified so much there wont be much left of the original frame. the bottom rails will have to be cut out making the engine really close to the ground. if youre gonna do a conversion, a raptor frame is a much better candidate. banshee frame is too much work and isnt gonna be worth it. trust me, its A LOT of work to do this swap right.
