id prolly just go ahead and run shearers. great pipe that should work well with that application. you might not give you as much on the bottom as cpi but youll have more on top. if you feel your bottom end is lacking with the shearers gear it down a little and youll still have a ton on top. im not a fan of cpi in any way. i would never run them. honestly on this setup id run the rockets. ive run them on a wide variety of motors and they perform well on all. problem is youll prolly never find a set of them.

def go with the long rod. less stress and more reliability. stay away from spacer plate 4mm setups.

no comment on the works, but ive been running my elkas now for over 6 years. they made a world of difference. if you can snag a used set i say go for them. works will def be better than stock, but make sure you get something valved for your rider weight and a arm width.

long rod is pretty much the standard. puts less stress on the rod. run it.

some of you guys that are jumping down FIREHEAD's throats need to calm down a little. if you knew anything about the guy at all its that the R&D stuff hes used to are things that are rarely ever experienced by the normal banshee rider. so you cant exactly jump on him for having a point of view that goes above and beyond what most of you guys are thinking when it comes to banshee parts. that being said, i understand where FIREHEAD is coming from. do i understand what hes talking about? fuck no! dude could put a coke head to sleep with all that testing babble nonsense (no offense buddy :biggrin: ). i think chariot is prolly doing a very good job at what they do. ive never used them, but i dont think id hesitate to if i wanted one of their products. they flat out tell you what motors their reed cages work best on. take their advice on it. they surely have done the testing to know that abover 4mm v force is the way to go. if they were tryin to screw anyone they prolly would say, "our cages are best on motors from stock to 20mm!" anyway, carry on!

dual carbs will always make more power than a single carb.

i see no reason why you cant get 600 out of a good running setup. itll cost someone more in time and money just to do a rebuild and have their cyls ported.

most people go with a stroked motor over some huge bore. youre not gonna gain as much going with a bored motor as you would one with a 4mm stroker crank.
