  1. No. If it changes with an air screw adjustment then it’s still in the jetting.
  2. The needle will be your last adjustment for fine tuning. I think I would put the 27.5 pilot in and get it close. Then start adjusting the needle.
  3. You need to change one thing at a time and see how it reacts. The air screw shouldn't affect the idle, but how clean it revs from an idle. It sounds like with 30 pilots and .5 turn open you were pretty close.
  4. It can't hurt to try it, but typically pipes with an air filter requires 27.5 pilot.
  5. Pilot is too big. Go back to the 27.5 and tune more on it.
  6. You cannot fine tune the motor without everything assembled. If the idle hangs, it's likely a little lean. Installing the box and filter will make it richer.
  7. I suppose there's a chance you didn't get the pancake nut tight and it fucked up the adjustment.
  8. JFC, several people have typed out how to do it.. It really should take less than 5 minutes tops to set it at the pressure plate and perch. And that's if you're fucking around.
  9. The actuator arm should meet the arrow at the first pint of resistance on the pressure plate. Meaning, adjust the pancake.. Hold the pressure plate with your hand. Grab the actuator and pull it towards the clutch side. You want the pressure plate to START moving where the actuator meets the line on the case. Forget about your fucking handlebars or anything else at this point. If you haven't done step one, you're doing it wrong.
  10. If you start at the pancake bearing and work your way back to the lever, you shouldn't have any issues. Adjust the pancake until the actuator arm lines up with the arrow on the case. Once that's done, you're finished there. Then set it up on the clutch perch. Done. This really shouldn't take longer than 10-15 minutes tops.
  11. I have ASV levers on all of our bikes. Zero issues.
  12. Good looking bike!
  13. Syncing the carbs affects the slides.. Let the adjusters come back down on top of the carbs.
  14. Then your slides are up too high. I haven't messed with stock carbs in years, but I bet when syncing them, they got set too high. Drop them back down some and try again.
  15. If it held air that long you don't have an air leak.. Something is just out of whack. i would definitely get the carbs synced.
  16. It shouldn't be that sensitive, but go ahead and put your airbox and filter on and try it.
  17. Adding air box and filters shouldn't make that much of a difference, especially with the 30 pilot. Almost all aftermarket pipes with stock carbs require a 27.5 or 30 pilot. Did it rev upon starting before these changes?
  18. An airbox with a K&N shouldn't be leaner than pods. I would say that your jetting is very close for that set up, especially the pilot jets. Are you sure you don't have the idles set too high or the throttle cable pulled too tight somewhere?
  19. I bet Brian at WCATV has some. If you have FB, send him a message.. https://www.facebook.com/WC.ATVPARTS/
  20. I doubt it.. He seems a lot smarter than most boaters.
  21. I’d have our wiring harness sponsor Kompulsive Concepts build you one. Cory can build you one to your exact needs. https://m.facebook.com/kompulsiveconcepts
