Shearer small bore in-frames. Flat black. They are very nice. There is one spot on one of the pipes by the flange that has been welded for some reason. It won't affect anything or be seen on the bike. SOLD Radiator in perfect shape. $45 shipped Foot pegs painted black. Very nice. Clutch side peg is tweaked slightly. Vice and BFH will fix it or would be perfect to cut apart and make double wide pegs. $25 shipped Complete clutch cover with impeller. $40 shipped Stock reed cages with some carbon fiber reeds. No idea what they are. Cages have been modified. SOLD Complete set of a-arms. Painted black. Very good shape. Ball joints are all tight. Good threads. Come with dust seals and tie rods and ends. SOLD Stock shocks. Seem fine but I didn't ride on them. All three. SOLD Fucked up ass cylinders. Right around 65 bore. You're not going to be able to run them I don't think. Probably just use for mock up. SOLD PayPal is [email protected]
You either have bad luck or you suck at maintaining shit.
I bought my YFZ brand new in February 2006. Since then it's had one piston put in it and had the valves checked once. I change the oil like twice a year. It still runs pretty good and I really beat on my shit.
Yep. I verified this back when they came out. The owner of the Honda dealership was talking shit to me in the store about how a 450r would walk on a YFZ. So I went and got my YFZ and we raced is the street. Two races was all it took for him to put it away. I stomped that thing easily.
Anyone can avoid the pipe issue and throw out-frames on it. Your bike is a coal climber. It should have in-frames.
This guy is building it RIGHT and cutting the shit out to make room for in-frames.
Yea, don't miss out on me making Dicklez look silly on his YFZ contraption.
It will be fine. That's just about where my Hybrid bike motor is and I've never had an issue. I generally like to see them as close to the pivot bolt as possible and pretty much inline, but it's not going to break the build. As long as the proper sliders and rollers are used he won't have an issue.
This build will be by far the best YFZ conversion I've seen to date simply because of the time taken to do it right. Garrett knows his shit and probably had a lot of good ideas for this build.
Look dude, I'm not sure where you race or what you race, but the mere fact you brought up that twin CR500 pile of shit shows you know NOTHING about going fast.
I would be highly surprised if you were the 1,000th fastest person on BansheHQ.
