  1. I would venture to say most motors will make better torque with in-frames.
  2. I'd go with a +4. Here's the chain length calculator - http://www.metaltechproducts.com/Chain_Calculator.htm As far as the rear shock, if you only go +4 or +6 I think you can keep the valving and run a new spring. You'll need to talk to Matt about that.
  3. That 530 chain is robbing power from you. When you went to a 530 chain did you switch to 530 sprockets?
  4. I'm more interested in the torque curve than peak HP. It has better torque with the in-frames.
  5. My junk is on gas with in-frames. With the DM out-frames it made 6 more HP. I'm guessing alky would be another 10 or so?
  6. No comparison at all. My 18DM makes 136hp and 78tq.
  7. Good choice. If it were me, I'd run billet bowls on it.
  8. I'm not sure what more you want. I've given you first hand real world experiences. I won a National title on one. I've ridden a ton of different motors from stock cylinder stuff to 18DMs. If the combination of my testimony and the Redline dyno charts aren't enough "proof" then maybe all you're really doing is chasing a number and you may be one of those people who is never really happy with anything.
  9. I run 50/50 in the DMs, my mowers and my trucks.
  10. I also need to add that I rode a FAST 4mm Serval with a cleanup port at Nationals last year and it had tons of power everywhere. I ran the same 22" cut tires that I run on the 18DM with 15/41 gearing and it pulled them easily. I'm guessing that motor to make mid 70s for power.
  11. I've seen one of Redline's Servals on the dyno personally. It was 85hp with an awesome curve. That was ported. That same exact motor and setup made right around 77hp before porting. This is a pump gas motor. These 4mm Servals aren't rocket science. They're doing exactly what they're supposed to do. I talked to Cameron last night about them. He said it's roughly 10hp from no porting to porting. As far as price is concerned, I don't know what Redline or anyone else charges and don't really care, but if you're getting an extra 10hp for $250-500 you're getting a good deal as far as I'm concerned.
  12. Stock Banshee arm measures about 19" from the center of the pivot tube to the center of the carrier.
  13. Do you not know how to read or is that just something you don't like to do?
  14. Check the jets.
  15. I paid $615 for each of my axles with a carrier. Everything is mint. They're brand new and still carry the same warranty. Can't beat that with a stick.
  16. Don't fuck around and deck a Cub. If you want a Cub, buy one. If you want a Serval, buy one of those. I won a National hillclimb title on a 4mm Serval last year and it was un-touched. They're stout motors.
  17. E-mail JJ&A. They can put you together a "blem" axle set up like the one linked below. I have three of them and you can't even see the blems. http://www.jjandaracing.com/contents/en-us/p449.html
  18. What kind of riding?
  19. I was out at Redline in February and witnessed a ported 4mm Serval on pump gas with I believe 35mm PWK make 85hp with CPI. Un-ported, that motor made 78 I think. On race fuel, I believe Redline is getting low 90s.
  20. Hahahaha. - HMFIC
