LED is just like every other builder who does excellent work. He's busy and as far as I know only has one or maybe two employees. Arlan is pretty big in the vintage dirt bike scene. As far as I know he's the only person who does custom hand coned pipes for the old 2-stroke dirt bikes.

I don't think Arlan has many if any unsatisfied customers. His DM pipes are absolutely the best you can buy at this time, both in quality and performance. The only thing I would tell you is that he is very busy and I'm guessing his lead time is quite a while.

No. The lower mount on the shock won't work.

I would run Snipers. They made more power than Shearer and CPI on every motor we ran them on. We ran them on two 4mm Cubs and a 10mm Serval all built by different builders. The results were the same on all three. Snipers pulled harder, made more power and pulled just as much RPM. I'm guessing the build up of oil is from the lack of spark. Have you checked to make sure the flywheel is seated properly and not loose? A loose flywheel will cause all kinds of issues. Once you've determined that the flywheel is not the culprit, then I would move on to the electrical. Have you checked the tabs that hold the coil on? they should be bare metal to help with grounding. Generally the coil is either good or bad, I've never seen an in between. The CDI can however produce intermittent spark.

I would call Noss directly. He will want all of your motor specs to make sure the domes are correct.
