I'd say while your in there to replace the plastic gear... but i don't think that is your problem seeing as you lost coolant. Sure it was actually overheating not just being pressurized by a leak in the combustion camber somewhere?? Is there coolant in your pipes?? I'd be leaning toward a bad cap at this point. Hope that helps.

I didn't know there were so many upstate NYers. I grew up in the area. Tug hill was my back yard till i joined the service. I'd love to be able to make it to glamis for the riding experience. Have fun gentlemen.

I know upstate you have to have them registered. And when you do you get the registration card which is basically the title and the piece of paper that you'll need for proof if stopped. You also need insurance and have proof if stopped. You don't have to carry them with you if your riding, but you'll get the tickets and have to show proof that you just didn't have them that day and the tickets will be dropped. Less hassle i think to just carry them with you for the day. Hope that helps. For getting the registration, you just need the old registration signed over to you on the back or a bill of sales. Hope that answers your questions.

I'm about to receive my FAST 4mil in a few days and have some general questions. I've got stainless bolts that I'm going to be using and I'm unsure whether to use loctite or anti seize on some or all bolts. I've heard that stainless bolts in a dissimilar metal will cause the bolts to stick and not come back out!! Any info would be great. A list of the bolts and what to use would be great if someone has them.

Ahh... that piece of information would have been helpful with my first post. If you have all the right documents, like registration, insurance and a drivers license, i would defiantly go to court and fight the tickets. In this instance, it's like someone said earlier, it's probably just so that there is a police report on record.

Ticket #1,2 &3 are all real tickets in NY state. I lived further up north then you so maybe it's different down in the city. But i have my banshee registered and insured in NY state. Have a license plate and all on the shee. It's not street legal or anything like that, but that's what they give all off road vehicles. As for the third ticket, if you have no license then that explains that one. And you didn't say what the 4th one was, but I'm going to guess maybe leaving the scene of an accident?? Which is true too. Unless it's different for the city area, you can register and insure wheelers all day long in NY state. I get hassled about it all the time back home and those two tickets alone run $400 for us. Where insurance is $75 a year and registration is $10-$15 a year. Not taking the cops side, but all of the tickets seem to fair to me.

Registration have to be from florida?? I'm registered, just not in FL. I still have my home town reg from NY, but it's legal. I'll have to talk to my buddy and set up a weekend trip out there.
