I know 3 people at Summit Racing equip in Akron,they say its a great place to work.I can remember when they were just a store on a mini strip and the room was nothing but booths and catalogs,no parts,no showroom.

I made one out of a piece of bar stock 6" x 1 1/2" x 3/4".I spotted off the holes using existing cover bolt holes , lined up the end of the crank , spotted one off dead center and tapped it.It took me about an hour and I've used it numerous times. I later slotted the holes to allow me to use it on various 125-250 engines. F-the 150 bucks,make one yourself if you can.Its really not that hard

I don't think YOU quite understand.My gripe is not with Bush directly,he's just the idiot in charge at the moment. I'm upset with our overall G O V E R N M E N T. Why do hard core Bush fans think anything said negatively about Bush is a farce and the Democrats are just fabricating these lies to defame Bush.What about when the tables are reversed.Are the Republicans just making up stories to make the democrats look bad. What you really need to do is start watching some international news to get some views from people that have no reason to make Bush look bad.I've spent alot of time in Europe and I can tell you that the majority of the world does not see Bush as you or hardcore Bush advocates do.These countries have nothing to gain by condeming Bush,so whats their reason for bad mouthing our president. You can get a great perspective from international news.They tell the story exactly how it is,they have no reason to do so otherwise,thats part of the reason I stopped watching Fox,Msn,CNN and stopped reading american papers.They are always one sided towards Republicans or Democrats.Do yourself a favor and broaden your perspective a bit and see what our GOVERNMENT doesn't allow us to. Just so you understand,I'll say it again,our GOVERNMENT in general is the problem,Bush just happens to be the idiot at the podium.

Regardless,we never found WMD's,probably because there never was any. Just like the story of saddams capture,manifested to win the peoples support and drive the war effort. I run 180psi with 21cc and .040 power pistons. A minimum of 50% race 50% regular for me works great

Wheres all of that oil that were suppose to be pumping out of IRAQ.Thats the "other" reason we went over there isn't it? I know,I know,regardless of how much oil we can pump out,we can only refine so much.I say,we sub it out to China,they already do most of the manufacturing for the U.S already. I forgot,they told us to stay the f*ck out of there business with Taiwan,lets see how long it takes Bush to F that up. Gas is 2.15-2.20 a gallon here,thats for the lawnmower grade.

From the factory your pistons should not exceed .002 clearance,not .060. I recently rebuilt the top-end on my 01' and the bores were well within factory specs,the original pistons had about.008 and .009 clearance after 110 hours of service.

Mud Machines are by far the best tire out there.They don't do too bad on the dirt either

You can't win every race and occasionally the banshee will run like shit,but thats why you need to experiment with jetting and keep track of riding conditions. The first year was the hardest,but since then,I've never experienced a "bad" ride. Learn what your shee likes in different atmospheric conditions.Write down your jetting specs and every problem you noticed during the ride.Also stay on top of maintenance,reeds,cleaning electrical connections etc. The extra effort is worth it when you can look back and see nothing but the good time you had on the ride.They are very high maintenance,but its worth it when you can get on it and rip without any worries except having enough of a good time.

IMO,carbs are wayy to big for stock ports,+4 or not.

Normally I would pull over immediately and plead with the police,but if theres that much snow on the ground,I would have never looked back.I guarratee if he saw you take off,he wouldn't have bothered. Tryin to run from the cops on dry pavement is stupid,tryin to run from the cops on snow covered roads is natural instinct.Unless of course there on sleds or they have 4wd. I've witnessed many cops lose control and crash tryin to chase sleds or quads on snow covered roads.In the more rural areas,they won't even bother chasing you if you take off,but do a good job of covering your tracks or they will be at your door a few hours later.

Upgrade your clutch spring if they aren't already.Might as well since you have the cover off and not to mention its the weakest link in the stock clutch.

I can tell you this,everytime I rode my d-bike,the only thought that went thru my head was,This motor would be sick in a quad chassis.Followed by,I need to sell this thing before it kills me.

Please give me an example of when you've worked with anything cast aluminum?I've operated EDMs too and never recall working with cast aluminum.Many different aluminum alloys,but never cast My experience with Wisecos is there almost too hard.Hard on sleeves.The introduction of higher Silicon content into pistons have really maximized the potential for cast,take hyperutectic pistons for example. Not tryin to parade cast aluminum as the model piston,but everything gets better with technology.

Very limited info on Namura,but it appears that Vitos cast power pistons are excellent Namura knockoffs.Willing to bet Vitos buys from Namura Only the superstocks and forged power pistons are made by Wiseco

Yea,well a tool and die maker is a long way from a metalurgist don't you think?Cast aluminum is alot different than cast iron and how much cast aluminum do you actually work with as a tool and die guy?My guess=0 As a industrial machinist I could hardly recall working with cast aluminum,but definitely cast iron.As far as your triple beam hands,I suggest you recalibrate them. I think you would be suprised if you actually took the time to weigh a dozen of the same cast pistons.You'll see there not "drastically "different. Obviously you run Wisecos,therefore anything else to you will be inferior,simply on the basis that you don't run them.I won't run them and I get piston kits for $33/ea.What does that tell you.They are overkill up to a certain performance level. I ran a stock cast piston with only .029 squish for 3 years,never f-ed up my domes.
