  1. Ok, gonna try this pic hosting deal one more time. Since so many are interested in the shocks and a-arms, here are the right side set. I took pics of both sides. The left are the same but I still gotta pull em off and clean em up, I'll post those too later (hopefully tonight). Let me know if this works or if it still gets the red x's

  3. Wow, I wasn't ready for all the PM's and replies, so I'll try to get to everyone. Mighty, yeah man we really are on the same page. The major reason I'm selling is so I can buy a house. I just got to P-cola and I'm renting a house for $1000 a month!!! I could buy a huge house down here for that. So I gotta sell this to get some down payment money. Yeah the pipes are for sale, I actually forgot about them because that's the first thing I bought for her. Everytime I walk by her in the garage I get pit in the stomach knowing I have to sell her. I've ridden a few shees with pipes and my LRDs are my fav. Everyone looking, O.k. Please let me know what you are willing to pay for the parts you want, a fair price, I'm not looking to gouge anyone. The reason I say this is so many people want the same things. So the highest offer gets it. Usually when I sell here its first come first serve but due to my extreme financial difficulty I need to get the best value. Thanks for the interest.

  5. Not really sure yet what I'm gonna TRY to get. I know what I want to get but that will never happen. If you're looking send me an offer cause you never know. The reason that seems so vague is because that's exactly what I'm wondering myself. I don't really know what its WORTH but I sure as hell know how much it COSTS. I really didn't start this thread in gen. section to sell it, but if anyone is interested its for sale. As I learned from most of the long time members on this board, its really better to use ebay. I'll go ahead and list what I got in the fo sale section.
  6. Hey everyone, Haven't posted for awhile but I've checked in every once in awhile but been super busy with flight training. I just got settled here in Pensacola, and now I'm gonna go ahead and part out my shee. Its due to both money and my flight training is gonna take up all my time for at least the next two years. I hope to get back into it though. My question is whether to part out the motor or sell it whole? I have a patriot racing mx ported +4 mil stroker motor with matched cases. It also has hinson pressure plate and basket, barnett clutch, pro design impeller, ricky stator timing plate, 200 watt coil, stronger magnetic RS flywheeel, alba shift drum with bearing (smoother shift), and that's all I can think of. BTW, time is not an issue for parting it out right now, I don't class up for a few weeks so I will have time to tear it down but its gotta start soon. So would I get more parting this thing out on ebay or selling it all as one unit? Thanks for you help! If anyone needs some stuff, let me know, I got a ton of aftermarket stuff, too much to list right now
  7. Sorry guys I haven't posted about the C-12 here. I've been super busy trying to gradiate from collige. I finally did yesterday!!!! I'm officially back on Active Duty woohoo. Can't believe I'm finally an Ensign! Anyways, I'm just gonna bring my own C-12 I guess. I had to quit my part time job over the last month in order to finish up school so I'm po. I might need some help with jetting!! I just putted around on my Patriot Racing 4 mil stoker MX porting, and matched cases motor. I'm on the 1/3 RPM part of the breakin. I'm so busy in the next two weeks that I'll probably be on the last break in cycle when I get there! Does anyone have Keihin PWK jets? I think I have 148 or 150 (not sure whatever Dan told me to get) but if I need to go higher or lower I'd be willing to buy some. BTW, jetting twin PWKs sucks, how do you adjust the idle and air screw on the left carb? I used the right one to keep it idling but I don't like the idea of the two carbs being off, and I don't wanna pull the carbs eveytime I need to adjust the airscrews. Any tricks (tilting the carbs doesn't seem to do it)?

  9. OK a picture of any aftermarket carb fuel lines would help. 04le, the problem is I can't seem to run the lines without them either bending too much or creating an air pocket.
  10. Could someone grab a picture of their fuel lines for 28 PWk carbs. I'm running a single fuel filter then its split after that. I can't figure out how to run the lines without an air bubble in the right side fuel line. I'm only on my third heat cycle and when I blip the throttle I can actually see the fuel level drop. It won't immediately drop back down to idle, it will rev pretty high for a couple seconds then drop back to normal idle. This leads me to think its actually causing a lean condition. I'm really nervous about this cause I can't imagine what will happen when I actually ride it WOT.
  11. I really don't want to sell this bike but I already have way too much stuff to bring with me to flight school (not selling the shee!). So this has to go because the gov only pays me to ship so much and doesn't give me enough money to get a house with a big enough garage. It has between 2500 and 3000 miles on it (I'm at work and I can get the real mileage later). It comes with the extra 3 year warranty so it still has 3 1/4 years of warranty left. Its pretty much stock. I have Sato frame sliders (the best no cut frame sliders on the market), and a K&N filter. The bike will come with an XL HRC helmet, an XL (I think) Joe rocket Jacket, and gloves, I have no idea of the make. It will also come with an R6 blue cover. I have a fender removal kit that I have yet to install which will be thrown in. I also have Pitbull front and rear stands for sale with the bike (brand new). The only blemish it has is the front nose fairing is cracked from a guy in a pickup backing into it while it was parked. The crack is barely noticable and the fairing can be replaced for around $100 on ebay. No BS, this thing has never seen rain (not that I think that matters but some people do). If there was even a 2% chance of rain I wouldn't ride. It hasn't been dropped either. I can get pictures of everything if anyone is interested. I'm looking for $7000 for everything. I figure this is all worth at least 7100 but took off 100 for the fairing. You can also PM or post here if you are interested in anything separately, including the bike. Although I will only sell the stuff if the bike gets sold also. Because if I can't sell it for what its worth it gonna spend about a year or two in my parents garage until I get stationed at my permanent duty station.
  12. Ploycarbon, I think you need to grow up, I think anyone using the term "rag head" should friggin grow up. I work with a ton of your "rag heads" alot of "rag heads" put their lives on the line to infiltrate Al Quida cells. I love the intellegent F' em all attitude,nuke em, blah blah, its great, sure signs of intelligence! Ok I'm done venting.
  13. I've bought half my LSR stuff from him and had no problems at all. If I ordered it over a weekend it was usually here by that following Friday.
  14. OK, instead of starting a new thread i'll just offer it up for sale right now. I'm looking for $900, that's about the going rate for 2000 motors on ebay right now. What I mean by this though is if someone says I'll take it for $900 plus the max shipping of $80 (from MA to west coast), its sold. I will obviously take reasonable offers below this price. If anyone is seriously interested I will mount it in my shee (my other motor is still in the crate), compression test it, leak down test it, and run it in my shee for say an hour or two. If its good to go then I'll ship it out to you.
  15. Yeah, I was thinking about the same thing when it comes to fees. I may just toss in the for sale section but from previous experience I doubt i'll get an offer for what its worth.
  16. I have a 2000 motor with 50 over cylinders. I bought the motor as my spare motor while I had my main motor at Patriot racing for matching cases and port work. Well, I've been so busy trying to graduate I never ran it, I've even had my Patriot motor back for over a month and its still in the crate. I was going to keep it and turn it into a Dune motor so when I travel in the mil I have a motor for every occasion. Now, I just need to liquidate for money and moving reasons. Anyways, so would I get the most money out of parting out on ebay or selling as a whole? I was told that it was recently rebuilt but I never did fire it up so I don't even know that it runs. I bought it from ER Cycles on ebay so I'm pretty sure it does. I could always fire it to make sure if I sell it as a whole.
  17. Yeah, they are right just do the math. A new rod and bearing is about 90 a piece so 180 plus about 200 labor to split the crank and repress it. Then you should buy new bearings while its apart. That's almost $500 when you can get a Wiseco Hot rod for $300 on ebay.
  18. mplech, are you student at prototype? or instructor? I went through the program in Orlando and did my prototype in Ballston Spa, NY. I spent a year on the Stennis till I picked up the BOOST program. Now, I'm about two weeks from commissioning.
  19. Brooke, I agree with you 100% on that one. The people who make over $300,000 pay most of our taxes. I watched an interview with Al Sharpton and he said "we need the rich to pay more taxes!" John Stossel said, o.k what percent would you like, Al replied, "I dont know much more than they do" So John said" OK so say they should pay 28%" Al Sharpton replied, "Yeah they should pay 28 % , that would be good" John then notified Al that the rich already pay 38%!! of the taxes (thats just the really rich, like brooke said the "rich" pay about 90%). Al then changed the subject. Another thing people forget about is sales tax, property tax, etc. The tax on a 4 million dollar mansion is much more than my $900 a month apartment (none). I'm not rich nor will I most likely ever be with a military carreer but I hate all the whining about the rich people. Suck it up, go get rich yourself, its really not that hard. That's what makes America great, anyone can succeed, its just that we've turned into a bunch of whiners and gimme gimme type society. My Dad grew up in the projects of Boston, lost both parents early, my Mom lost her Dad to the Korean War and grew up with four sisters and her mother (obviously poor). Now, my parents have a summer house on Cape Cod and they go on vacation to Europe or Aruba twice a year. My Dad is an electrician, nothing fancy, he just works redonkulous OT plus he does side work plus my mother does warranty administration. Yet they bring home about 200K a year. So I just hate to hear people bitch about the rich while hey sit on their ass smokin pot gettin high all day when they could be bustin their ass working. Sorry, I just got this attitude from watching my parents go from feeding me and my sister Mac and cheese everynight to hey wanna come over for some Lobster. I think they have earned it!!
  20. I'll straight shoot you. I highly doubt anyone would trade a newer R6, R1, or Gixxer for a shee no matter what you put into it. The money we put into these machines is for the love of the game: make it go faster!! I seriously have about 15 grand in mine but know I could probably only sell it for $4000 or maybe $5000. I wouldn't sell my 03 R6 for less than $6000. You may get lucky but like I said its my opinion that its highly unlikely.

  22. Got a 2000 frame in MA so no shipping for you (I might even deliver depending on where or at least meet half way). It could definately use some paint or PC. I'm looking for at least $350 for it. I have the title also. I can grab some pics if you are interested.
