Parting out the rest of my Banshee

OK, here's the deal threefold, Got pretty much everything, the lawyers put a stop order on me selling my stuff, but its all good now. Basically came to a what's in your possession is yours kinda deal. So yeah I got pretty much eveything. The other thing is I'm working 18 hour days right now. The minimum passing score is a 94 for naval aviators so I'm focusing 100% on that (and these tests are friggin hard). I got one more week of academics so if you guys could hold off I can work with you. Anyone looking to becoma a naval aviator let me know I have the gouge (inside info). The third is I have made so many yeah ok deals with people on here, and then I never hear from them again. I got my last test next Friday, so I'll be drunk from about friday afternoon till sunday night . After that I'll be selling this stuff ASAP. I'll be moving to Texas in 3 weeks (assuming I pass) for further training so I'd like to move this stuff. If I get blown off again I'm just gonna have to do the ebay thing. My messenger box gets full faster than I can check it so email me at [email protected]. It won't be next week but I WILL get back to you. Thank you all for your support! -
Parting out the rest of my Banshee

Hey all, Thanks for responses, I've got about 40 PMs and emails to go through plus my job as mil. officer and going back and forth to the storage unit. I'll anwer everyone as best as I can. Also I'll go ahead and post some prices here ASAP (I'm at work so I don't have my price list) since everyone is asking pretty much for the same stuff. -
It is in the for sale section, the section where i said i would post pics of it in images. Thank you anyways moderator! No, the frame is perfectly straight, as I said before the plastics are not mounted they are just sitting on there which makes the rear end look tweaked. The pipes are only on there hand tight so it gives the appearance of being tweaked. B370 can vouch for this frame, its in near perfect condition.

Here are pics of my banshee right before i broke her down. The shocks and a-arms are gone, and the motor you see is not the one I have for sale. The plastics look saggy because they were placed on for the picture, the are not actually bolted on:

Parting out the rest of my Banshee
mcaf29 replied to mcaf29's topic in For Sale - Parts & Accessories
Thank you all for your responses personal and parts related. Due to the overwhelming repsonse I'll need some time to get back to people. I packed all this stuff as if I were keeping it, so I gotta go back through boxes and unpack all this stuff. I'll post pics (in images) of my shee right before I tore her down so you can get an idea of what eveything looks like. -
Wouldn't call myself a "pilot" just yet. I have 25 hours in a 172 w/ a cross country solo in there. I've got backseat time in a T-34C (hurrivac for Ivan), S-3 viking and F-14 Tomcat, which means absolutely nothing but it was fun. I'm currently a student naval aviator here in wonderful Pensacola, hence my T-34 avatar.

Well, I tried to keep as much of my banshee as I could in order to maybe rebuild it next year but I'm getting a divorce (woohoo ) so I need money ASAP. I really need to move this stuff quick so I wanna avoid ebay for now. So here's what I got: 99 Frame-$400/bo 2000 motor (60 over I believe, got from ER cylces as a spare, never ran it myself) (will take $700/bo) LRD adjustable pipes- $400/bo Make offers on stuff below: -1 LSR swingarm w/ round housing carrier LSR eliminatoor adjustable axle LSR sprocket hub LSR rear brake hub LSR rear hubs LSR front hubs w/ new bearings pair of front OMF beadlocks w/ 23 inch RAZR II's pair of rear OMF beadlocks w/ 22 inch Razrs pair of front 21 inch holeshots on douglas .190 rims (have tubes in them so they are perfect for rough terrain). 200 Watt ricky stator and "stronger" ricky stator flywheel never used Vortex twist throttle w/ cable for 28mm carbs Out n Back rack set blue plastics set of white/red plastics rear Custom Axis shock (dual adjust) AC Racing PRO PEGS w/ guards Aftermarket airbox Full set of Quicksand wave rotors I either have the front or rear set of stainless brake lines (I'll check if interested) Ac full skidplate w/ mounting kit DG full skidplate w/out mounting kit rear DG skidplate with a notch for use with stock cut -2 swigarm stock A-arms w/ skidplates stock steering stem stock rear grab AC front bumper stock front I have or can get pics of anything. Shee is in storage about 20 mins from my house so I may be forgeting some things, this list was from memory. So if you are looking for anything give, drop me an email, [email protected]. Divorce is expensive so I need to move the big ticket items first but every little bit will help.

Do not use a drill to tap your carbs!! At least not the first time you ever use a tap. Go to Sears or any hardware store and get some cutting/tapping fluid and a tapping handle. When you drill the hole put a piece of cardboard down in the barrel to prevent the drill bit from striking the wall of the carb. Then hand tap the hole using liberal amounts off tapping fluid. Don't rush it!! Make a few turns, back it out, clean the tap and hole, re-oil, and repeat. Good luck.
