Could be at risk of shearing the degree key, but most likely if you got the flywheel back on ok & torqued to specs, and it's running good, you'll find out sooner or later whether you hosed something. Sounds like you're probably ok though. Just MHO...

If your shift forks are bent really bad it could be moving over & hitting some gears. Flip it on it's side & take your clutch cover off and take a look. Let us know what you find.

Yepper...staph is everywhere & MRSA is getting more & more common, it's everywhere, supposedly has been said to possibly be the next epedemic in North America. Just scraped a little white-head, wasn't even big enough to amount to a good zit. Is most common among those who's immune system is down...but mine was good, so it was just a freak deal...about 1 in 3000 the doc said. Leave it to me... But yeah, as brooke said...don't pop zits &/or pick scabs, unless you're soaked in anti-bacterial soap & wearing disinfected leather glvoes.

I agree with fixitrod...don't fix something that's not broke. And boring your cyl's is not going to increase your power. A good port & polish will bring you much noticeable HP gains, and prices will vary upon who's doing the work for you and what all you're having done as far as the port job goes. I wouldn't expect any less than $300 for a good port job.

Led is not dead! Thanks for all your thoughts & prayers everyone...it really means a lot. You all here on the HQ have been great and helped me out tremendously these past few months. Can't thank you all enough. Anyhoo...ended up with a severe staph infection / MRSA "methicillin resistant Staphylococcus aureus" ---a type of bacteria that is resistant to certain antibiotics. My lower lip was about 6times its normal size...all stemmed from scraping off a little white-head. My body was resisting everything they gave me until they're last resort--Vancomycin aka Vanco...after about 48hrs of the nasty shit pumping through my ass it seems to have done the trick. If it hadn't of worked they were going to life-flight me to Wichita & remove my lower lip and hope for the best, then if I didn't die reconstruct a new lip. The doc told me if they'd of waited about 8hrs longer to give me the Vanco they're about a 90% chance I'd be dead right now since the shit got into my bloodstream. They couldn't give it to me 1st because it's such a pontent anti-bacteria, they have to try all the others 1st. But I'm doing better now, finally back @ work and online...still on some anti-biotics and I've pretty much eaten all my painkillers. The demeral was alright...but after 3days of it getting pumped into me every 2 hours on the spot, it wasn't really even seeming to do much. Just glad to be back, have missed the HQ & being able to be out & about again; sucks I had to miss snakehunt, but I'm planning on hitting the sand next weekend to get my fix & hopefully leave all this shit behind me. Gotta take it easy for a bit though because if I get the flu, a temp, anything pretty much I have to go strait back to the hospital. Just keeping my fingers crossed... Again...thanks for all the thoughts & kind words, and my bro zephead400ex for keep'n you all in check. Hoping to get out for my B-day tonight & have some fun.
